Pregnancy & Parenting - 18 July 2007

My neighbor's daughter (5 yrs) keeps pushing children or hitting them. I am not sure about why she does this. Yesterday, she pushed my 4 yr daughter down as they were playing after hitting her on her head. My daughter has minor bruises. This is ths first time this is happening. I told my daughter to let my neighbor's kid know that this is not right and also that she ( my daughter) would not play with the other kid until she behaves. But I am very upset with this and am not sure how to deal with this issue.

I really thought I would have lost it by now. I have had a lot of cramps lately, but have not lost my mucus plug yet. Anyone been in this situation before? Starting to get a lil' bit frusturated.

I am so happy to be pregnant with my first, and a little boy at that, but this week i am just so tired and exhausted and the whole pregnancy thing is getting old, i am just so anxious to meet my baby and hold him i dont know what to do with myself for the next 10-12 weeks, its all I think about at work, what do I do?

my son is 15 months old and he still does not sleep thru the night.. it disturbs my days at work because i end up being tired. he only gets up once mind you, but is there anything i can do or give him?
he gets fed before he goes to sleep, but then hes up again at 3:30am!

Like, would you do it if they did something absolutely positively horrid, like stealing an iPod from Walmart, or calling the cops to a church for no reason whatsoever. Would you do it?


My personal opinion is that you should never, ever, EVER hit your own child, or someone elses kid for that matter. There is no excuse for hitting a child. EVER. People say, "Oh its to make sure they won't do it again, so they'll be afraid." WHAT!?! You want your own child to be afraid of you? Yea that real great.


But I want to hear your opinions.

I have been pregnant before (ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks) and my breasts were super sore that time. It was my first pregnancy. Theres a possibility that I could be pregnant again (period due this coming Friday). My question is .. do your breasts get that sore ever time your pregnant or just the first time? I have heard both ways. Ive heard they only get that way the first pregnancy because your body has never prepared to breastfeed before and Ive also heard that they will do it everytime because they are growing. I want to know what you have experienced. I dont have sore breasts right now but could still be pregnant. Last time, it was one of the first signs.

Okay.... I know I have had many of these type of things on here before, but here I go again... lol

I have been having some the symptoms lately. I am late on my period, by a week or so. But then I still have been having my "pms" symptoms, but no period.

I took a pt, but it said negative. But I have been feeling kinda sick every morning. I have only literally threw up once, but I always have the feeling in the morning.

Is it possible that I am pregnant and the pt was wrong?

I have been with my bf for over 3 yrs, and we live together and we aren't using anything during intercourse, we really don't care if I get pregnant, if it happens it happens..... I know that sounds bad, but that is how we feel.

My other question is that, is it possible to still have the period symptoms too, but be pregnant?

i keep dreaming that i smoke!! i used to smoke but when i found out im pregnant i completely stopped!! and now i've dreamed that i smoke like 10 times or more.. once i dreamed i was using cocaine.. ive never used cocaine, but then i thought OMG! IM PREGNANT!! I HARMED MY BABY.. and that is everytime i dream i smoke too, last night i was smoking soo much in my dreams and then i felt so bad for smoking.. its starting to freak me.. what weird dreams have you had more than once while pregnant?? its just so strange!!

i was just wondering if this was an issue. sometimes i get the gooey egg white stretchy stuff, but last month i didnt (and did not conceive) and so far i havent this month either (i'm on day13). i have the creamy consistancy but that's it. and i have been drinking plenty of water to help it out!! does anyone know the liklihood of getting pregnant without an abundance of mucus?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and started bleeding. I have had two ultrasounds and both have indicated the fetus is miscarrying. There is no heartbeat and the fetus is no longer viable. But the miscarriage has stopped and I don't want a D&C. I want to know if I can help the miscarriage along naturally - without medical intervention.

Our son is 1 week shy of 14 months and tells us it's night night time and tries to climb into his crib and when he wakes up tries to climb out. He cannot climb out yet but should I seriously wait for that to happen? He screams when he can't get out to his toys. He takes his naps regularly and all in all is a very good boy. I think maybe he is telling me he's ready. He can get on and off the sofa and recliner easily for a few months now and has been walking since 10 months old. What's your opinion?

i know this sounds dumb i have a syst on my ovary and it causes me pain in my hips and bones down there and thats normal according to my doctor and should subside my next appointment is on aug. 13th i was just curious if when i sneeze if that can hurt hte baby if i can feel it jerking my abdomen isnt that dangerous.....or is ok or should i avoid holding my nose when i sneeze....neways.......i was just worried bout that....i had a miscarriage with my first so i am extra careful with this one and thank god each day for the gift he has given me....i know i shouldnt worry or stress im slowly learning what pains are ok and what ones i should worry about....i love my ob he puts all my worries to ease......so now what kind of cravings did u have.........did u have trouble sleeping even though u were wore out..........thanks in advance

she met this woman also with a baby and she asked her if her baby was crawling yet my sister said no hes only 5 months and the woman said well my baby was crawling at 4 and a half months , what i dont think so , i have never known a baby that young to crawl , have you guys ??????????

you know what makes me sad? i'm going crazy. know what makes me even more sad? knowing that i know that i'm going crazy. even worse: michael laughs at me for going crazy.

so this is my theory.

i say we send all pregnant women to their own little island for the whole nine months. completely paid for. and whenever our significant others begin to miss us, they can fly out to visit. completely free. all we preggies have to do the whole time is work on what we want our nurseries to look like and what kind of mothers we want to be. there will be NO hot lady employees on this island, all of the employees will be hot men... who tell us how beautiful we are (in private, of course... and they will add in "but that girl next to you is a hag, you're the hottest girl here!") and how smart we are, even though we're all just really ugly and dumb for the whole nine months (at least that's how i feel!)...
