i have a 20 month old boy and he has one (maybe 2) very small cavities. it looks like a small brown dot, i know i have to getit fixed but i was just wondering how they might go about that? i had a cavitie once but it was so small that i didnt even need a shot for numbing. could that be what he might need done, will he be in alot of after pain? plz anyone who has young childern that has had this prob plz let me know how it was handled. thank you very much

i have a friend who drinks and she is two months pregnant. she drinks once a week. sometimes a little bit sometimes more half a bottle. i have told her time and time again that this is goign to hurt the baby. and she tells me a little bit won't hurt. so my question is how much alcohol does a pregnent womon have to drink to hurt the baby?

My husband and I have been TTC for over a year now. We're seeing my ob/gyn doctor, who also specializes in fertility. However, when should we start to see a reproductive endocrinologit? Will we get better results with a RE instead? Any advise would help. Thank you.

My fiance has a son with autism by another woman, and we haven't told my parents about him because we're worried that my parents won't want me marrying him because of that child. Is there a chance that if we have a child that our child could have autism because the other son does, or does it run more in the Mother's side of the Family?

My best friend has a baby that is 15months old but she was born 6wks early, my daughter is 10 months old and they are about the same level developmentally. So I was just wondering if it was because her daughter was early or if my daughter was a little bit ahead? My daughters doctor did tell me that she is advanced on some areas. Thank you!!

When you want to have your first child do you usually have the urge to have a newborn baby or want a child?
I know it sounds stupid because you will have a newborn then a child
BUT.....I am starting to think about having my first child, but I dont think that I am 100% ready yet because the thought of having a 4 year old scares me!
I had to babysit for one a few months ago and she drove me nuts, but no other kid has ever annoyed me like that before!

ok so me and my boyfriend have been dating for 9 months, and he thinks that me and him are emotionally ready for sex. i mean i think i love him, and i think that im NOT ready for sex yet. he is making all these plans for us to have sex on his birthday [july 6th.]

and i mean i want to be with him, but im not ready for sex. and if i tell him im not....im afraid he might rape me. becuz his two brothers told me that his last 2 girlfriends left him for attempting to rape them becuz they wouldnt have sex with him.

im so scared right now.

so it comes down to....i break up with him and he rapes me.
or i have sex with him and i stay with him.

help me out?

I just got off the pill a little less than a month ago, my last periond was on the 20th of may, but the last time i had sex was on the 5th of june. Im not getting morning sickness, i think im ovulating, but not too sure, i am getting discharge. I have also been gettting these cramps for the past 2 weeks that feel like im on my period. could i possibly be pregnant? (p.s. my lifestyle has changed alot too, i work out alot now, and am on a strict diet) should i worry??

I know this will make people angry, but I have to ask this question. I know it will make people angry because I have tried to encourage people on this site to at least try breastfeeding, and it has been met with animosity. I know that people try to breastfeed and are not successful - I am not talking to those poeple, I am talking to the people who won't even try. People say they are "Not comfortable with breastfeeding", and I don't know what that means. I'm not trying to be nasty, I seriously want to know.

It is not sexual, you show less skin than when wearing a bikini, and it is the best thing you can do to give your baby an healthy start. It is the best thing to know that you are nourishing your baby all on your own like nature intended. What's to be uncomfortable about that?

My friend told me a huge story about having a miscarriage, but I somewhat dont beleive anything she is saying because it seems sorta fishy. She claims it was a baby girl, but you cant tell the sex of the baby till about the 5th month and if she did have a miscarriage it would be a bigger deal. She wasnt even in the hospital and after it happened she was herself. Nothing affected her at all and she seemed perfectly fine as she was drinking the same night it happened and was having sex again. She has no proof of pregnancy and she didnt even tell her friends or family she was pregnant. Her ex boyfriend asked me to please help him out in trying to find out if she was really pregnant or if it was a way to keep him around longer.

1) Describe in detail what happens and what all goes on with a miscarriage.
2) Do you have a period afterwards?
3) Is greiving something uncommon?
4) How long till you can you have sex afterwards?

Please list anything else you think I would want to know

I have heard that hotdogs and peperoni are not safe. What about ham? Or if any one can give me a web site that list all the foods safe during pregnancy.
PS: Thank you to all who answere my first question. The baby is fine ( Yesterday I got my first pic with her or him) and acording to doctor calculation I'm now 8 weeks and very excited, but I know I still have long ways to go.

We are having trouble w/ names for this one. Here's some ideas, but we just can't find one we both really like. What do you like best. Do you have any other suggestions? We prefer something not too common.

All she wants to do is be right there on the boob. She is only 2 weeks old and she just started this yesterday. Just wants to nurse all the time. I know that she is getting something because time to time I take it out and squirt just to see, and sure enough there is always something there. But she is doing it so much that I feel like I am going empty. I tried to give her a passie but she gagged on it. But she is very grumppy now and I am not sure what to do. Any one have this problem? Any suggestions?

How come when people see me out with my 15mo. old and 2mo. old boys they give me a look of condolence and say..."2 boys? Are you gonna try for a girl?"

What 's wrong with having boys? I always wanted boys. I never once felt disappointed by having 2 boys. I think we will try for another one day but it won't be specifically for a girl...what if it ended up being another boy, would I jsut see him as a waste? Know what I mean?

Anyway, I find it rude and disrespectful to ask me if I"m gonna try for a girl!

She took the morning after pill about 2.5 months ago and had a heavy period induced by the pill. She hasn't had another period since... does this happen often after taking the emergency contraceptive or is it just highly likely that she is pregnant? I'm getting very, very worried.
