I got my neice and nephew to eat veggies, by getting the frozen dinner things, that are like chicken, veggies, and cheese. My neice HATES broccoli, and thats the only way she will eat it. Also try to play games with it. Like "Yum!!! This is soo good, and im not sharing because its all mine!" "Do you wanna try?" My co-worker said this worked for his kids with their veggies. Now my son is only a year and a half, so im not sure if it works lol. But its worth a try.

I cannot understand why little children HAVE to eat vegetables. All these ideas about hiding them in other foods is a load of rubbish. There are lots of other things kids can eat that have just as much goodness in them. I have 4 kids
( grown up now. 22yrs - 28yrs old ) and two of them would eat potatoes and green beans and that was about it. They were offered every type of vegetable under the sun and encouraged to try it but not forced to eat it. Junk food was kept at an absolute minimum and I encouraged them to eat other foods such as fruit, cheese , yogurt etc. so their diet was always balanced with a good variety of foods that they did like. My kids were never forced to eat something they didn't like but as they got older their tastes and their attitudes changed and they were willing to try other things. Now they are all grown up and have healthy attitudes to food and love their vegetables. I still believe forcing them to eat something they don't like turns them off that food, vegetable for life.Don't make a big deal out of it. Just make sure there are healthy alternatives. Good Luck!!

My mom used to puree veggies and bake them into our bread. Hilarious! The key to sneaking veggies in is to make them invisible (i.e. puree or finely chop). Puree cauliflower and mix it into the cheese sauce for mac & cheese. Make a casserole with noodles, cheese, chopped chicken (or whatever her favorites are) and finely chopped veggies. Use a food chopper to make the process a little less time consuming. Bribe her. I know it's bad, but they need the nutrition from the veggies, offer to follow them up with a cookie or her favorite snack or juice. My son will eat 1/2 cup of peas if he knows it means he'll get his hands on a Fig Newton, some white grape juice or a fruit strip. My kid loves tomatoes (he would drink V8 all day long if it were up to him), so I give him veggie lasagna, spaghetti, etc. Here's a great website with more info. You can decide what you want to do.

I have a 2 year old son and go through the SAME thing...I have found that serving corn on the cob with cute corn holders seem to do the trick for at least one veggie..the others I puree in the blender and mix in with his mashed potatoes...its easy to mix up some peas and just stir them in really well..she will never know the difference :) Other fun thing I have tried is using peanut butter as a dip..my son will nibble on carrots as long as he has some PB to dip them in...Good luck! :)

I used to hide them every where. Especially ina casserole, spagetti, and then ranch dressing as a dip for a plate of vegs. like pea pods, cucs, thin carrots, thin yellow pepper. If you keep serving this stuff and say yumm, yum, they say 15 times by then you should get a hit. Brocelli cut very small and covered in campells cheese soup warmed up is a good one.My mom made lettuce greens and sliced bananas with a coleslaw dressing, us kids liked. Basically hide the vegs!

most kids like spaghetti you could put mushrooms green or red peppers onions zucchini summer squash etc in that if something is cut up small enough kids may not know what they are try getting your kid to pick a veggie of their choice from the market and make a big deal when you go to eat it how she picked this yummy item out and is such a big girl for it

continue to offer the foods. she can eat 2 bites of the veggies cuz she is 3 yrs old. this teaches her to count and focuses the attention away from the food. don't encourage an eating disorder at this age, just continue to provide healthy snacks and meals

You can add veggies to almost anything made with ground meat such as spaghetti sauce and meatloaf or tomaoto sauce without meat. Just puree them.. Puree them and add them to soup. Steam them slightly and offer her a little cup of ranch dressing as dip-many kids will eat them that way.

My favourite for the kids is spaghetti bolognaise. You use small vegies ( even mashed or vitamised) and disguise it in with the meat & tomato sauce. My kids love it and always come back for more. Other ideas are meatballs with veges mashed in with the meat & in with sauces. That way they are there but are being disguised. Good luck and hope this works for you.

I cook veggies in with her mac and cheese. I use frozen veggies that are mixed and in small pieces. Just pour them in the water when you do the noodles and finish the way you normally would. Does she like dipping veggies in ranch? I do this alot with my daughter.
