Ahhh! Trouble with baby boy names! Help!?

Question

We are having trouble w/ names for this one. Here's some ideas, but we just can't find one we both really like. What do you like best. Do you have any other suggestions? We prefer something not too common.
Caleb, Cole, Colton, Camden, Kail, Kane, Kyler
(Cade, Chase, Bryce, Aiden, Jacob, Matthew are a few names we can't use due to other family members etc having them)

There is a kid I teach horseback riding lessons to named Colter... I like that more than colton. Also my boyfriend's name is Kinsley. Thats different... and his brothers are Keegan and Kolbey, I like both of those names.. I really like the name Kail though.

Aren't there any nice traditional names in either family that you could name him after or a mixture of both families? I don't understand the need people seem to have these days for naming their kids names that will either be mis-pronounced or mis-spelled for the child's entire life. What a pain--always having to correct people on your name!!
Also, some names tag the person as a 'Dork', 'Nerd' or whatever, and weird spellings make it look like the parents are illiterate.
Have a heart. Remember, just because you think something is cute, the child may not think it's so 'cute' and he is the one that is going to have to live with your choice for the rest of his life.
The way names are going these days, when he's grown up, a traditional name may be the ones that are uncommon.

I think Caleb is a beautiful name. We had this same problem with our son and we picked his name and then found out it was in the top 10 for the world! His name is Ethen (spelled with an E instead of an A at the end). So maybe you can do something like that. Take a name you really like but is too common and switch up the spelling and make it unique!! Congrats and good luck!

i really like Cole,Camden and Colton the best...Caleb is ok and Kyler is too..the rest i dont like.
Cole is a tough name to find a middle name for..you can use it as a middle.Good Luck!

I like Cole and Camden best. One of my favorite boy names is Brady, which isn't very common either.
