I have a question that I don't feel that I can ask my dr because he's male.

I'm a first time mom and I'm am planning on having a normal birth in September. Someone said to me that its better to have a C-section from the point of view that your sex-life is never the same afterwards. Is this true for everyone who has given birth normally or only for a select few? And do you stay stretched or do you eventually return to normal?

The other question is that I am planning on asking for an epidural, but I've also been told that you will still feel the full force of the pain of when the baby comes out. I'm really a wimp when it comes to pain and I'd like to know what other women out there have experienced. I think its more the unknown than anything else that I'm scared of.

I have a 10 year old daughter who i get to see every other weekend. My ex lives in San Francisco. I live in Los Angeles. Every other weekend we meet in Fresno so i can have that weekend with my daughter. This weekend however my mother is bringing down my daughter to LA because my daughters cousin is having a birthday party. My daughter very rarely comes to LA or gets to see her aunt, uncle, and cousins. My daughter got into trouble with her mom. Not listening, going to friends house without permission. Twice. After the first time my ex told her if she did it again she couldn't go to LA to the birthday party. Well she did it again. So my ex grounded my daughter. She told me she wasn't coming to LA. Plans were made a month in advance for my daughter to come here. It is my weekend. I told my ex wife that it wasn't fair to ground her from coming to LA. She wants me to drop everything and meet in Fresno. Is this right? The ex is upset with me because i am not backing her on this punishment

I would like to have a stock of bottle incase feeding doesn't work out for us. How many would you recommend I buy? I am going for Dr Browns anti-colic bottles as I believe prevention is better than cure but I don't really want to over buy.

My son was born 2 weeks ago, 9 weeks premature, and is still in the hospital for another two weeks or so. I'm pumping for him and was wondering two things: is it possible for one breast to produce more milk than the other and is it normal to produce more milk in the morning than at night? Between both breasts, I can pump almost 16 ounces when I wake up in the middle of the night, but at the last pumping before bed, I can only pump about 8 ounces. Is it because I go a longer time without pumping during the night and it's been accumulating? I just hope I'm doing everything right because my first was also 9 weeks premature and I pumped for him, but my milk dried up after only two months. I was hoping to go at least six months, if not a year, with this baby.

I am going crazy here im 37 weeks and 5 days and I can't decide which i rather do... want to breastfeed but only for a month or two. For her to get all the important enzymes and ect. But if I do that it would be pump and feed in day and boob before bed time and during night. Then I hope to turn her over to formulla after 2 months. My point is this healthy? would it be o'kay and what can I do when my breast swell w/ milk.. I can't find any breastmilk donation centers here in ohio. Will a medication be able to stop it? Help

Off topic they say Mommies little boy Daddies little girl; as a child growing up it took me less time to figure out why my parents where always upset and anger. It was not me or my sisters but money and the fact that they had to work both of them to raise all for of us. To the actual question; when a parent ignores your bad behaviors is it a sign of good parenting?

Hi our 3 month old baby seems to be drinking less and less milk. We give him mostly formula milk. Since the last 3 weeks he's been reducing his milk intake. Normally he would get through 90 - 120 ml of milk but nowadays he barely gets through 90ml even after some hours sleep. Towards the end of a feed he cries and doesnt want to drink anymore, but we feel he should be drinking more than what he is. Apart from that he seems happy enough and he seems normal. Is this anything to worry about? I would have thought his demand for milk would get bigger and bigger?

hello. please help me.
my baby just turned 9 month old a few days ago.
all along he has been breastfed, he had some formula when he was like a month to 2 months old, after that it was all breast milk. He started to eat some solids now, like 3 meals a day. So i stopped breastfeeding him three days ago, and he just wont drink formula. Is that ok? some people advice me to stop giving him the solids (mashed stuff), and let him starve for some time, and he will eventually drink formula. Is this true? help me !!

i was messing around with my BF and he was being sneaky and he had slipped his penis near my vaginal opening practically right on top i left it there for maybe 30 sec and i think he was precuming but what are my chances of getting pregnant? are they very little? could it reach from that far? cause doesn't it already take about 3 day for it to reach the egg from intercourse? so from that distance wouldn't take about 6 days or so? wouldn't they be dead? i dont know i am just freaking out and my period is coming soon so i am trying not to stress so i dont miss my period so i dont think that i am pregnant. please help me!!!

I have a friend who is 14, who is dating someone who will turn 15 in august.

her father found out She was fingered and gave a ******* to her BF. Now he says he'll put a restraining order or something if he continues to see her.

She's arguing with me that she'd have to sign it if he tried which she won't.

What are the legal standing on this, I believe her father wouldn't have to have the paper signed by her since she is 14.

I also understand it's illegal to have sex(including oral etc) before you're 16.

If they continued and had sex, or just simply continued seeing each other and her dad found out, what would hte outcome be.

Could he really put up an restraining order or send him to juvie like threatend or is that a empty threat where nothing can be done.

S Miscarriage advice...?
Ok On Friday I found out I was pregnant. I had gone to the docter for some abnormal vaginal bleeding. She said it still may be a perfectly normal pregnancy. I went to the er sunday because I thought I might be miscarrying. The docter told me that it was a threatened misscarriage because my hcg levels had gone from 184 to 152 and to come back on Tuesday and get tested to make sur my levels dropped completly. I went home and stopped bleeding completly by Sunday night. My levels on Tuesday were still 122, but not zero. I never had any cramping and now no bleeding. Could I still be pregnant? Could it have been twins and I lost one?I just don't know. But what I do know is I really want this baby to be ok. Any advice? I also still have pregnancy symptoms like tender breasts and fatigue which i didn't even have before I "miscarried". Please help

I am expecting my second baby in October, and already my areola are huge. There's no way a lil tiny baby mouth is going to be able to fit that in his/her mouth.

The nipple size seems ok now. However, with my first baby, I was told that my nipples are too short and that's why I was not succesful at breastfeeding. Looks like this time the nipple problem has been solved.

But I am wondering about the areola...
