I was at a friend's house. Unknown to me, someone lit a blunt. I was in the room for approximately 5-8min before I realized what was going on and left. I am breastfeeding my two month old daughter. I'm wanting to know if my very limited exposure to this second-hand marijuana smoke will have an effect on my breast milk.

It's not going to effect your breastmilk, it probably didn't even have any effect on you. I doubt that by sitting in the room for 10 minutes that you even got a buzz, so there's no way your baby is going to get anything from it.

I really don't think that it will have any effect on that. Since you were not exposed to it for all to long and left as soon as you realized what was going on, I would say you are OK.
Just make sure that you had changed your close before handling your baby.

no i would not think so. i would be more worry about the exposure to your daughter than to your breast milk.
