S Miscarriage advice...?
Ok On Friday I found out I was pregnant. I had gone to the docter for some abnormal vaginal bleeding. She said it still may be a perfectly normal pregnancy. I went to the er sunday because I thought I might be miscarrying. The docter told me that it was a threatened misscarriage because my hcg levels had gone from 184 to 152 and to come back on Tuesday and get tested to make sur my levels dropped completly. I went home and stopped bleeding completly by Sunday night. My levels on Tuesday were still 122, but not zero. I never had any cramping and now no bleeding. Could I still be pregnant? Could it have been twins and I lost one?I just don't know. But what I do know is I really want this baby to be ok. Any advice? I also still have pregnancy symptoms like tender breasts and fatigue which i didn't even have before I "miscarried". Please help

Go to the Dr. and take another pregnancy test. You could have an ectopic pregnancy. You are correct though and you could have had twins and lost one. Check with your Dr. soon. An ectopic pregnancy can rupture. Usually most rupture between 6 & 8 weeks of pregnancy.

Depending on how far along you are you'll know if it's a miscarriage. If it's early it will just be a heavy slightly more painful period. If it's later it will be horrible. I miscarried at 10 wks and it was one of the worst things I went through.

You just need to take it easy and keep your feet up. You may have symptoms for a while and your hcg levels will still be enough to show your pregnant even if your not. So a Dr and an ultrasound would be the only way to know forsure.

The doctor said that you had a threatened miscarriage, that is not a miscarriage until your levels drop completely and the baby leaves your body.

Take a home test on Saturday or Sunday and call your doctor Monday and let them know what is happening and they will have you in for more blood tests, ultrasound and a possible D & C.

This happened to a friend of mine, she was bleeding so heavily that she almost passed out and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and she stayed pregnant and had a baby boy.

Good luck!

I had a miscarriage also. The best advice I can give is to wait it out.

Its a horrible feeling if it is twins then hopefully the levels will start to rise again.

be patient.

a falling hcg in the light of vaginal bleeding usually means that you have had a miscarriage.
the breast soreness (and other pregnancy signs) will not go away immediately..they will slowly go away in response to NO stimulus to keep them going...
sorry

GO TO YOUR OB/GYN A.S.A.P!!!! what can a e.r. doc for you? an e.r. doc has knowledge of emergency practices, knows surgery, knows how to deliever a baby etc, but your OB/GYN specializes in women's "Special" internal organs (uterus, etc!)
