Off topic they say Mommies little boy Daddies little girl; as a child growing up it took me less time to figure out why my parents where always upset and anger. It was not me or my sisters but money and the fact that they had to work both of them to raise all for of us. To the actual question; when a parent ignores your bad behaviors is it a sign of good parenting?

Tasha your like my closes sister in age and I would be your younger brother believe me I do understand. My sister does not talk to me any more because I still love my parents, but I do mess her dearly.

I'm a middle child! And my older sister gets given all of the responsibility and attention, anything i achieve, she already has done.
My younger brother gets away with anything, apparetntly "he doesnt know any better" and "i was encourgaging him" even though hes only a year younger than me!

Its certainly one tactic employed by parents, especially parents who don't like to hit their children as a form of reinforcement.

kids don't come with instruction manuals. Most parents do they best they know how. Don't read too much into it. You will live happier that way
