I'm so frustrated i cant sleep my back hurts so much, I'm not dilating yet, i wake up about 3 to 4 times a night to pee, Ive tried walking but i get so tired im always out of breath and all the anxiety is getting to me..

When i lay down to finally relax at the end of the day and sometimes when i'm driving, i sometimes feel a "pop" and then the area around where i felt it goes really hard. Sometimes i will feel it on my lower left side, and then 30 mins later it is up high (under my belly button). The area doesnt always tighten up, but lately it has. i felt the same sensations at 14 weeks without tightening). This is my 1st pregnancy, and i am now 17 weeks.
I'm sure it is,.......Is this my baby???
And why does the area go all tight and hard?

My daughter just had a baby girl, her 1st was a boy, he's almost 3. I'd like to go over n see the baby every day but her husband's home for 2 wks helping her. On one hand I feel that I'd be intruding. On the other, I feel she might think I don't care about the baby & my grandson. She n I don't have a very close relationship, I was out of town a lot in the past 10 yrs n she's a passive person who never wants to hurt feelings so I haven't just asked her. I'd like to get some ideas from u 1st. Thx

Me and my boyfriend had a stupid passionate night, we didnt plan to have sex, cause we want to wait till marriage. He masturbated, but after that things got heated up. He put his penis right on top of my vagina, didnt penetrate me. We were in that position for half an hour or so. I dont know even if his thing was properly erect or not. Still is there any chance of me getting pregnant.

From what i know, this is not possible, but still I am a bit afraid. Can anybody please clarify it. Thanks

I do try and feed her some rice pablum..and although she seems to like it..she only will eat a few bites...sometimes none.

She did accept the taste of sweet potaoes and carrots...a little bit

She totaly rejected apple sauce, peaches and pears (either alone or mixed with the rice pablum)

....but she generaly just wants formula...most days shes not interested in the pablum at all....shes very chubby, happy and healthy...is it ok to just let her have the formula........shes just not ready? Anyone else have a child like this?

(my two older children really seemed to enjoy solids and started at 3 months...by 6 months they were eating lots of it)

I'm not pregnant or anything but wondered if, when I do get pregnant, if I would want to be told the sex of the child. From a practical point, it makes sense to find out the sex of the child so you can shop for things, decorate the nursery, etc. I've heard of many couples though that are told they are having a girl, for example, and so they go out and spend hundreds of dollars on girl themed things and then when the baby was born, it was a boy! Has this happened to many of you or your friends? I wonder if the percentage is high for this happening....

well i was on youtube and n i saw this vid of a news report. it was this 400 lb lady who didnt know she was pregnant. she found out like a week b4 the baby was born. how is it possible not to know? didnt she notice she missed 9 periods? didnt she go to the doctor? the morning sickness? all the signs?!?! and the baby was born with no problems?? i found this rather outrageous. opinons?

I am 31 years old and have regular periods and my ovulation is good,but since my partner's motlity rate of the sperm is less,
i will be going through IVF treatmnet, august 23rd -2007 would be my tentative egg retrival date, I have a few concers,please help -
1) We consulted the doctor in april and got all the formalities done by june 13th (i.e. all related tests etc) , but why is the process so late?
2) will anyone come to know that I had pregnancy through IVF?
3) What are the measures that I need to take to sustain my pregnancy?

4)Has anyone gone through IVF treatment, if so please can u tell me the wait time and your feelings, so that I can calm down and feel relaxed.

I've posted a similar version of this question but would like to add some details. My girlfriend and I had unprotected sex - two day later she began to bleed heavy and the period lasted for 9 days - she was later diganoised with a tyroid condition which the Dr says could make her period irregular until the thyroid get straighten out. She also took (2) HPT's and both were negative.( after period) It's been almost a month since her period and she hasn't had another - Two question (1) is all bleeding like in this case considered a period? and do you think she could still be pregnant?
