Some days my breasts will barely hurt and other days they hurt a good bit like even if I move my arm the wrong way especially across them. Why does it vary from day to day?

Perhaps it has something to do with the pregnacy, during this period the breast is swelling in preparation to provide milk to the coming infant. But whatever it is, you have better to go and visit your gynecologist soon!

I can not believe no women have answered!-
There are many reasons- If you drink a lot of caffine your breasts will be more fiberous- also right before mensueration they begin to get tender-

Try a very good sports bra with heavy support

If this persists for more than 1 week at a time see your doctor- and when was the last time you had a mamogram?

Good luck-

While hormonal fluctuations may be the culprit, keep a log of your pain, and ask about it on your next gyn visit. I had similar problems, and mine was a combination of hormones and fibromyalgia. But don't assume it is a problem, ask your doctor.
Lowering your salt intake and caffeine may help, to a small degree.

Hormones vary throughout the month and affect not only your body directly but also how comfortably you sleep (or how deeply even when you are in an awkward position.)

Hormone fluctuations would be my guess. Pregnancy plays havoc with your hormone levels anyway so, like I said, that would be my guess why they're more sensitive some days and not others.

Good luck with the baby!
