Poor old you! Rest whenever and wherever you can, even if it means dozing off in the chair! Gentle walking is great - but not worth knocking yourself out for. Don't forget it will all be over in a couple of weeks and waking up 3 to 4 times night will become the norm for a while!!

Above all, try not to stress. Not good for you or baby. Good luck - fantastic exciting times ahead for you.

I know how you feel I went to 41wks with my son (my first) before they induced me.

Intercourse can help the cervix ripen (the prostoglandins in the semen help it ripen)... if you can bear the thought of it but it doesn't work for everyone...

Some say spicey foods help, it's thought that the stomach contractions it causes when trying to pass the meal can kick off uterine contractions.

Try to sleep when and where you can as you will need your strength, talk to your Doc about something mild to help you sleep. When I've been in hospital before my kids births they have always given me a mild sleeper at night (yeay!!)
Also talk to your doc as the anxiety maybe putting your BP up so they may consider inducing you early.

You are nearly there good luck and once you have your darling baby in your arms it will all be worth it.
