Pregnancy & Parenting - 28 June 2007

Next week, my daddy and I are visiting some EXTREMELY prestigious boarding schools for me in another state. Daddy says I need to go because he needs to travel in the Middle East this fall and he said I cannot stay home alone and my only alternative is to stay with my friends parents, who are EXTREMELY STRICT. My relatives all live out of state.

Daddy has some concerns that I project the image of being EXTREMELY SPOILED and next week has asked me not to speak UNLESS SPOKEN TO, not to dare SMART MOUTH or BACKTALK, and to only ask PREREHEARSED questions. He also wants me to get a good night's sleep so that I do well on the aptitude tests, although I possess an EXTRAORDINARY VOCABULARY, ACUTE CRITICAL REASONING SKILLS, and AN APTITUDE FOR TECHNOLOGY.

I feel EXTREMELY insulted to be under these strict rules. But, Daddy says this is my future we are talking about here and I shouldn't dare mess it up. He says if I do, it will be EXTREMELY uncomfortable for me to sit on the flight home.

Yesterday my wife went to her doctor to get a blood test to see if she is pregnant or not. She has had all the signs of being pregnant and all her home test came back negative and so did the blood test from the doctor. I am concerned that something might be wrong, and I do not what it could be or where to start looking for a clue. The doctor is suppose to call her either tomorrow or Monday.

i have a 1 year old daughter and my husband and i are talking about trying for another baby! How long do you think we should wait? i would really like for our children to be close in age. This would be my second pregnancy. I was 17 when I first got pregnant, was in denial and did not listen to body. I think I may be pregnant again, would have conceived a week ago. ok last sunday me and my bf had sex. and when we had sex i held the condom a little until i felt like something was coming out of it. i told him to stop and when he took it out we notcied whitee stuff at the tip of the condom. im not sure if it broke cuz we didnt check. and latley ive been getting alot of first week symptoms of pregnancy. I have been bloated, sleeping in til almsot one, eating alot, quesiness, rlly bad cramps in my lower stomach, mood swings, and emabaressing to say alot of gas than normal. i checked and these were all signs of pregnancy. and i was a little curious so i looked up my most fertile day to get pregnant this month and it was weirdly sunday, the day we had sex. do u think i am pregnant?

That if you are pregnant you can't get a professional massage?? Im getting married in less than a month and included in our package at the resort we are going to for our honeymoon.....is a free massage but someone told me that if you are pregnant you cant have one? By the time i am there i will be about 3 months...if it matters.

I haven't asked my doctor yet because i haven't found one. I don't have any health insurance :/

I have been noticeing more discharge lately than usual. Is this normal or do i have a leak in my sac or something i need checked out? everything else seems normal, its just bothersome. Baby kicks away though!! Has anyone else experieced this?

My son will be two..and I am at my breaking point. I am home with him everyday, and his father comes in....spends a little time...we eat..then he goes to his friends house downstairs...(not always) he is a good father...and some of the time that he is doing something else...he is finding a way to make more money for us, whether he is drawing pictures for someone..doing tattoos or giving studio time...But I just feel like if I can't get 30 minutes to myself ....I am just going to lose my mind completely. But I just feel so bad...because I love my son...he is so amazing..but I just feel so tired..that I don't know what to do. And of course it isn't my sons fault. I have gone out with my friends a couple of times..but all I could do was think about my son..and how I should be home with him. People keep telling me that I need a break..but I don't quite know how to do it.

Don't bash my boyfriend..he is a good man...very hard worker great father.

So after my last ultrasound we were finally able to tell that it is in fact a babygirl. Which shocked everyone because they swore it was a boy! Girls run in my family so I kind of had this gut feeling that I kept to myself! Of course, we had tons of boys picked out but that's not use now!!! Girl names seem to be a struggle for us though...

I had the name Akirya in mind.

But the more I say it i'm not so sure anymore! So I was thinking just plain Kirya? But then I'm worried people will not understand the way that I want it pronounced.

Saline Injection Abortion:

Dilation and Extraction (often called partial birth abortion) is used during the 2nd or 3rd trimester and is usually performed on a viable baby. The Ultrasound-guided procedure is essentially the breach delivery of a live baby. Forceps, inserted through the cervical canal, are used to position the fetus so that it can be delivered feet first and face down. The child’s body is then pulled through the birth canal, but the head (too large to pass through the cervix) is left inside. With arms and legs exposed (and likely flailing), the abortion provider then inserts blunt surgical scissors into the base of the fetal skull and spreads the tips apart. A suction catheter is inserted into the skull and the brain is sucked out. The skull collapses until the baby’s head can pass through the cervix.

I dont know what to do when im tired because my 3 year old daughter dont take naps and my 2 year old son has developmental delays and NO one is trying to figure out why or whats wrong with him.I am also depressed. My best friend had a baby 1 year ago. While I was in the delivery room I heard her husband make a comment, he said that the baby is probably another guys(some guy she was in love with for 4 years, while she was married). Of course he laughed as he was kidding. Now the child does not look like her husband whatsoever, I mean it is like he has no jean of her husband. Now her husband has been saying to the child "I don't know who your daddy is, maybe he is a chinese man that your mom slept with, etc etc etc. But that is not the fact, she didn't sleep with a chinese man, but I am wondering if her husband is doing this because he is not sure within himself if the child is his or not. What do you think? Her husband also don't pay a lot of attention to the child, he was excited in the beginning, but now it is like he don't want no part of it. (he is very responsible as in buying for the child and supporting it, but he don't want any part of taking care of him,

ok well my friend is turning 16 on the 4th of july (: and we are throwing her a surprise party towards the end of july but can't think of any good themes! the party will be outside in a back yard where therre is a pool, a trampoline, a hot tub and some other things..they're are boys and girls invited so we can't have some girly theme lol so any ideas?
