how about a luau? those are usually awesome, and you can do a lot of different things with it. PLUS, orientaltrading.com has lots of decorations, and favors really cheap. We had a 21st b-day party for my friend as a luau theme, and it was great. We even had a pinata, and everyone had a great time...
and not be to momish, but seriously, I work in an ER and i see TONS of serious accidents with trampolines (loss of limbs, serious head injuries, serious cuts). You probably don't want anyone to sue, so i'd keep that off limits for the party.

Hey! my sweet sixteen is on the fourth of July!! what a coincidence. Well, if someone was throwing me a surprise party for my sweet 16 i would want a beachy theme (luau or hawaii or paradise), or Las vegas, or masquerade, or a retro theme (with color themes of hot pink, red, orange, and yellow). aww you must be a good friend and tell your friend HAPPY SWEET 16.

Pink, pink pink everywhere! Your Sweet Sixteen party should be as girly as it can be. Make her feel like a princess--the star of the show!
