I am pro life for a very simple reason.

Science has proven that from conception on, there is life, and we are all obligated to protect human life, especially those who are most innocent and vulnerable.

You cannot say it's "a potential human" or a "bundle of tissue" or "not alive until later in the pregnancy." Either you are alive or you are dead. There's no in between.

I am kind of on both sides here. I mean, if a girl gets an abortion as a form of birth control, that is in no WAY right to do. There is the choice of adoption as opposed to abortion.

I am pro-choice ONLY ONLY if it's rape, the mother's life is in danger or the baby will not survive anyway.

This a touchy subject, but all in all, an abortion is a woman's PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL decision, not anyone else's. Although, like I said before, no girl should use abortion as a form of birth control!

I am Pro Choice

* Here is why I Am Pro choice:
~ Because for one if the mother life is at risk then that could be one reason why to do so.
~ A rape and the young lady or woman does not want to have to go through the labor and go through the adoption process.
~ I feel like it is a woman/ mans choice together if they are together to make the decision themselves. Or if the woman is left by the man and she has to make the decision by herself.

It is their decision to do what they want to do. Also, I know people get one here and ask well what do you think about an abortion should I have one or not. well all we can do is give advice and say no or yes but in the long run do we know just how many actually do it or dont do it? We dont so lets not judge people to harshly on here they are here looking for advice from us and that is all we can do.
But I feel as though it is still in the end their decision and whatever that person decides to do then the are the ones who have to live with it not us.

I had to respond to this question simply because no one else has stood up for pro-choice. I believe in pro-choice completely. I feel that, although abortion may not be right for everyone, it should be the individual's decision.

What about those women who are drug addicts, or have no money, or are homeless, or who got pregnant because of rape? I don't believe that under those circumstances a person should necessarily have the child.

Abortion may not be the most responsible choice all the time, but in many cases, I think that it is justified if not necessary.

Rather than teaching everyone that abortions are wrong, we should teach people the importance of protected sex. Then there is no "choice" to make.

This is a touchy subject and I was a complete pro-lifer until a friend of mine was raped and got pregnant from the attack. It makes you think twice and I could not honestly say that I could carry that baby either. I am a completely on the fence.

Get a blog or website you can get them free. Blogger is quite nice. Or use your Yahoo 360 page, or MySpace.

This is a website for asking questions, and this is not a question. This is also a relatively pointless place to discuss beliefs and opinions as there is not really any chance for response and back and forth.
