I think they're all nice names, but definitely a bit long. Why not have Don Delfino, and save the other two: Eamonn Ryker for your second.

After all, you don't want to use all your good names at once!

Hope that helps! :)

I think it's fine to have five names. It's odd, but it's not really going to affect you at all in your day-to-day life. The baby would have one first name, three middle names, and one surname.

I used to hate the name Don, but now I've got a friend named Donnie, and the name has grown on me. So, as long as your son grows up to be a nice person, maybe his name won't sound weird to his friends.

Delfino is an odd name. I've never heard it before.

Eamonn and Ryker are both great names. Why not just call him Eamonn Ryker or Ryker Eamonn?

And I hate to burst your bubble, but purposely calling your child "Ruler Dolphin, Protector of Wealth, Famous Boxer, Dutch Name" is every bit as silly as "just a concoction of different sounding names which alot of young couples are doing these days."

Also, you said "delfino is latin = dolphin, which the love of my life adores more than anything"... shouldn't the love of your life love YOU and your CHILD more than anything? lol. If he doesn't, tell him he can keep his Latin dolphins.

No, 5 names is too much. 2 seems like too little, 3 is perfect, 4 is pushing it.

I would do Ryker Eamonn Surname or Eamonn Ryker Surname, because those sound reasonable. Delfino is an island in Mario Sunshine the videogame, and I don't think it sounds that great of a name. Don sounds like that nerdy kid who sits in the corner all day.

you can really only have one first name (with the exception of hyphenated names like Mary-Kate), but there's really no limit on how many middle names someone can have (look at Royalty). Besides, when he's in early grade school learning how to write his name, and everything, he can just be Don *Surname* (or Don D. E. R. *Surname*,for documents, etc). But when he reaches the point in life where he wants to find his own individuality, he has the options of going by Don, Delfino,Eamon or Ryker. So i think the name is fine.

technically your baby can really only have one FIRST name, the word FIRST indicates it is one of two or more. you may however add as many other names as u want. i knew a girl w 5 names...although she only had one first name too!
oh, and dont listen to lazycat, just cuz ur child has a lot of names they dont have to sign each whole name on documents. how many times do people use only their first initial and then sign their last name, most people do not sign their whole name on anything, i know i never do cuz its too long to fit on the line they give u to sign on, so i use my initials. not traumatizing in the least.

You can have as many as you want it is unusually but it has been done. Usually you have one first name and then several middle names if that is the way you want to go. It is also usual that the names all have a meaning. Such as they have their first name then their given middle name, then their christian middle name then their baptized middle name then the last name etc...

I would think your baby could have as many names as you want him to have, but you have to consider the legal ramifications of this. If he has 5 names, he has to legally use these names when signing documents or anything official as those are his legal names. So think about it and what it would mean for your son in his future, not just that you want to use all these names because you like them. He might grow up and hate the hassle it brings for him.

Youcan name a baby whatever you want, but why don't you save the names for when you have another kid, Ryker can be a girls name too!

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's ok to have five names. This could cause him to be teased when he is younger. Why not pick your favorite 2 names and go with that.
