My 3 months old baby likes to play than to eat. What can I do to let him know that he has to eat first? He will cry when I put the nipple into his mouth but smile immidiately after that if somebody talk to him. He does that even when he has not eat for 3-4 hours.

whats it like if u have a hole in your amniotic sack and your just leaking fluid? Iwhen i wiipe i have a fluidy clear discharge. mucusy too. is this ok?

I have a friend who got pregnant while under the influence of drugs. She became clean and sober after discovering that was indeed pregnant. But still, her 4 month old son is experiencing some problems now. She just found out that he is deaf and may be autistic due to his lack of motor skills. He has difficulty holding his head up. And he has severe asthma. The back of his head is also very flat, which would suggest to most that she doesn't hold him too much and/or he never gets tummy time (which would in fact help him learn to hold his head up). So I really wonder if he could really be autistic or if it's just that she never does anything with him to help his motor skills.
I really think she means well, she just doesn't posess the right tools to know how to be a good parent. I can't help but mother her child for her when I come over. Plus she's got another friend living with her who helps a lot. I don't want to call CPS. So how do I help her get a clue that she's doing a crappy job?

Been married going on 2 years. Husband is 26, I'm 25. We're good financially - just bought a big house so you could say that all of our ducks are in a row. Now the only thing is waiting for husband to feel he's ready. How long did it take your husband to feel ready enough to start trying? Was it a battle which he finally gave into? I really like the name Ryo Dallas for a girl, I think it sounds so cute and pretty. The name Ryo is japanese and I'm not sure if I should pronounce it Rye-O or Ri-O.. which one sounds more feminine or at least nicer?

how do i apply for short-term disability while i'm on maternity leave? it's supposed to pay half, or in some cases 100% of your salary for 6 of the 12 weeks you take off from your company. do i ask my company to apply me for short-term disabilty or does the state do it?

first of am 32weeks on monday and i got a virginal test done on thursday also swabs etc because i felt like i had leaked because my shorts were soaked a bit and smelled sweeter than usual and i was told it was discharge does that mean it was my mucus plug or something some of it was clear and some of it wasnt?
also my other question i was told by my gp that the rash i have is irration of the skin and hair but when u was up in the hospital they says its possibly shingles so what am i meant 2 believe?
also i think i just leaked some milk or something cause me n ma man were carrying on and he pinched my breast and i speck of white fluid came out is it possible?

How far along where you when you had to buy maternity clothes - first pregnancy only.

I'm 15 weeks now - and hoping to get to August before I have to buy maternity outfits. I've bought a few shirts that are longer and looser - and then a few pair of pants that sit lower and maybe one size bigger.

I've only gained 5 pounds so far.

i was curious how many times a day you ladies clean and dry your nipples and boobs my problem is i sweat quite a bit throughout the day. my daughter had thrush 4 times it was impossible for us to get rid of it, i am hoping not to have the same fate again this time, any one that could give me some advice would be great, i dont want to over clean myself but i also dont want to take any chances!

hi there i am 16weeks pregnant with my second child, i work for a fresh produce company within the kwiksave stores, i have received a letter saying me and all other staff members of the produce dep are to be laid off as kwiksave is struggling, they have given us 19.60 for the first 5 days then we donut get another penny. what do i do about maternity pay i have been in this position before with my first pregnancy as my old boss declared himself bankrupt and i didn't receive a penny of maternity nor any other money

im only 14 and i might be pregnant. i have decided i want to keep it, but i dont know what to do, like wether to stay at school or just look after the baby. i need to get an education to pay for the baby, because the father is unable to work, hes 18 and he's dyslexic, and he cant read or write. so i dont know what to do. my parents dont know yet either, but im not telling them untill im completely sure that i am. i'v had all the symptons, but im waiting a week or so to take a test. what should i do?
