We are having trouble naming here... Maybe you can help!
Gimme some middle names to go with the following firsts... The names we have chosen are:
Cheyenne (female of course)
Chase
Dakota
Stetson or Dallas (all male)

We currently are using Jacob/David & Matthew so those are no goes. What do you think would work well with the above first names? Both grandfathers names are a big NO! lol. My husbands first name is Richard and thats ok- but his middle is not gonna happen.

Please help--- God Bless!

We have discussed several different middle names including:
Lincoln
Jaxson
Eugene-lynn (mix of his dad and mines middle names)

I really don't like the last one, but if we don't find something good we will settle on that one. Because his grandma keeps saying its a good name (Eugene) and why aren't we using it? Uck...

my son is 10 days old today, his umbilical cord fell off after 8 days but before it did, it smelled very bad. the doctor told me not to mess with it before i left the hospital so i never put any alcohol on it or cleaned it with water or anything, now that its fallen off, it is still gooey in the middle and it still gets little crusties on it, is this normal? i think it still had a very slight smell to it, but nothing like it was before the cord fell off. there are no other signs of infections and it isnt red and it doesnt bother him or anything, the past few days i have been dabbing alcohol on it and i dont know if it seems to help, is the cord normal to have a strong smell to it? or should i call the doctor? the cord has already fallen off but the gooey stuff in the middle is not healed yet, is this normal?

I am pregnant and suddenly my doctor tells me that my size indicates that I am three weeks further along than we thought. I am supposed to be 34 weeks but this would put me at 37 which I didn't think was possible knowing my cycle. Is it possible that I am carrying twins and the second one just hasn't shown up on ultrasounds? Has this happened to anyone? Or, am I just worrying for nothing?

Ever since I found out that I was pregnant I was scared of having a miscarriage....once I got past the 3 months of the risk of having one, I was scared of still losing the baby. The doc says everything is fine so far, I mean I heard the heart-beat-I havnt had an ultrasound yet, (should be going sometime next week) I'm so scared everyday that Something will be wrong wtih my baby, Or something will happen and it will die.
If I don't feel it move for a day I get really scared about that too, I'm always thinking that it's not alive in there anymore... I cant get it out of my head that something might happen before its born.
This isn't my first child, I have a 5 year old son And i didnt have any problems giving birth to him, he turned out Normal...and I dont remember feeling this way when I was pregnant with him! So please? anyone else have these fears in their mind..Really wahts the chances of the baby dying while inside the womb. I hope someone can help me get over this fear.

In 2003 I had my daughter. I was only 16. My grandmother took over my responsability so I could make my dreams come true. Of course grandparents spoil their grandchildren. I am now almost 21 and I am 36 weeks pregnant. I am trying to break my daughter of her sippy cup. It breaks my heart because she has been through so much. In January of this year she lost her Great-Uncle. He was her idol, her friend, her hero, and her life. That caused so much to happen to her. Then to follow, she lost her Great-Grandmother whom raised her, on May 13th. BAD DAY!!! I am a single mother and trying to figure out how I am going to have a c-section and 2 kids to take care of on my own. Right, that is my problem but that is why I am asking. She does not want to listen and acts horriable. Death is a cause I do understand. I have nobody to help me at all. Any suggestions on what I might be able to do to help her? What would you do if this was your child who lost 2 loved ones so close togather? Thank you.

If your intention is to talk me INTO breastfeeding, then move on to another answer. I have put a lot of thought into this decision, and am not going to sway the other way just because someone gives me a holier-than-thou lecture about the so-called benefits of breastfeeding.
I breastfed my oldest until she was a year old...those so-called benefits are for argument purposes only & have no true weight.
Boost immune system?...yeah right! My 3 year old has had 2 surgeries and countless rounds of antibiotics thanks to strep throat & chronic ear infections. (So that part about reduced ear infections....again, yeah right!)

I don't want to hear the lectures, I don't want to hear any statistics, and I won't read anything you have to say regarding pro-breastfeeding.

I simply would like my question answered....What extra things should I take to the hospital? I am already smart enough to know I need bottles and formula. What about other comfort measures??

I'm using the NuvaRing and I think I might be pregnant. I got my period May 2nd and got it again May 28th (26 days apart) so i figured it's the ring causing so it's now June 23rd i took my ring out today and my last period was 26 days ago and haven't shown any signs of getting it but ive been getting light cramps this past week im just thinking if my period was 26 days apart last month than why would it be different this month?

My son is almost 4 months old. I believe he is starting to teeth. He gets real grumpy lately and is calm when he has a teether in his mouth. However the problem is that he can not hold it himself. If I lay him down and he has it and drops it he throws a fit. I find myself having to hold it for him when he needs it. Is there any product out there to help with this? Is there a "teething pacifier" or anything? Just need some advice on what else I can do until he can hold his own teether?

My baby is a girl, and I am looking for the best girl name, first and last.
I was thinking something with a spice, like Rosemary for the first name, but not exactly that.

Do you think the doctor will give me any form of antidepressants or help me in anyway..I can't make it through this much longer and my significant other isn't helping me cope at all.

I'm in my third trimester (whooohooo finally!!! :) ) and am due on September 15th. I was wondering how I would go about planning for a baby shower? This is my first bundle of joy and I'd like the baby shower to be fun, nice, and relaxing. When would be a good time to have the baby shower (what month, day do you suggest?), what sorta foods should there be? My fiance and his Mom offered to cook/bake whatever I'd like. What was your baby shower like? Please help! Any advice you have would be great. I'm expecting about fifteen to twenty people to show up to this event which includes my co-workers, friends, and family. People keep asking me when I'm going to have the shower, but I need to plan everything out first! Please, please help!

My 11yo nice has a 16yo boyfriend. After posting another question here previously, I figured I would add this as an add-on.

One person mentioned she should be on birth control. After reading that, I agree. I mean, they may not have sex but its better to have her on it to be on the safe side. Also, should I explain to her about the birds and the bees, I mean, with whatever she doesn't know, so she is more prepared just in case? Is there anyway, being 18, I can help her get the birth control?

I really do not plan on the two of them having sex. I am also neutral on it. I am not for or against it. I feel what they do in their bedroom is none of anyone's business, including her parents or myself. I also feel that no matter how much I educate my niece or maybe threaten this boy, if they are going to have sex, they will have sex. There will be nothing anyone can do to stop it. So I'd rather educate her and be proactive instead of her & the family being quite surprised.

My opinion. She actually works. She works on my other uncle's farm as well as delivers newspapers. She also works 6 hours a week at a Pizza Shop just filling sodas and taking out the trash as well as running errands like buying things and bringing them back. That is legal by the way in our state. Anyway, she is real responsible and also purchases Savings Bonds with her money. She never spends it on herself or others. She just saves it. So.... if a 16yo guy wants to date her, whats the problem? My uncle wants to kick this guys butt. I mean, she is going into 6th grade and he's going into 11th. I mean, if he can deal with the ridicule from his peers and the general public because he really cares about her, I say its worth giving it a try.

As to all that may be worried about her having sex well, she may. I mean, techinically, its none of anyone's business what they do in the bedroom. You know?
