I'm in my third trimester (whooohooo finally!!! :) ) and am due on September 15th. I was wondering how I would go about planning for a baby shower? This is my first bundle of joy and I'd like the baby shower to be fun, nice, and relaxing. When would be a good time to have the baby shower (what month, day do you suggest?), what sorta foods should there be? My fiance and his Mom offered to cook/bake whatever I'd like. What was your baby shower like? Please help! Any advice you have would be great. I'm expecting about fifteen to twenty people to show up to this event which includes my co-workers, friends, and family. People keep asking me when I'm going to have the shower, but I need to plan everything out first! Please, please help!

id have it Saturday August 25th...you wouldnt want it too close to the due date just in case labor starts early. if you know what your having and you have a certain theme in mind do a theme party with cute party favors. offer a varity of food and do some adult games... print out sheets of paper for the guest to fill out that ask what day and time you will have the baby. you could take pictures and do a baby shower book...be creative its your first child

( to the people before me... i threw my own baby shower for my first.... you dont have to make your friends or family do it...id feel guilty)

You should pick a place where it can be comfortable but also where you don't have to wear yourself out! You can check out some websites that give all the advice and tips you need! They even have checklist! The websites are easy to find through yahoo! Here are a few of my favorites~!

your friends should have the shower for you in your 7th or 8th month. your coworkers might have one for you, too. most moms-to-be don't have their own showers. congratulations!
