i was curious how many times a day you ladies clean and dry your nipples and boobs my problem is i sweat quite a bit throughout the day. my daughter had thrush 4 times it was impossible for us to get rid of it, i am hoping not to have the same fate again this time, any one that could give me some advice would be great, i dont want to over clean myself but i also dont want to take any chances!

I clean my breasts once a day in the shower and wipe my nipples with a damp washcloth before nursing my son. IF you wash your breast and nipples with soap too often it will lead to dry cracked nipples which are painful to nurse with. The damp cloth should be enough. If your baby keeps getting thrush its from an infection in your nipple that you need to be treated for as well. Good Luck!

Go talk to Doc. Overcleaning can lead to drying. Lanolin oil?

I've seen breastfeeding wipes beside the breast pads in stores, those might help.

you should talk to your pediatrician I don't think she should be getting that from you not washing enough but something else also if you start washing to often you will get very sore and nipples will start cracking
