Been married going on 2 years. Husband is 26, I'm 25. We're good financially - just bought a big house so you could say that all of our ducks are in a row. Now the only thing is waiting for husband to feel he's ready. How long did it take your husband to feel ready enough to start trying? Was it a battle which he finally gave into? Did HE mention it first?

You sound just like me 7 years ago. The minute I stopped bugging my husband about having kids was when he decided we should try. I married him when he was 26 and now he is 33- It did take him a few years to realize that it would be nice to have a munchkin or two running around the house. Just be patient with him, and don't turn it into a battel, he will come around when you least expect it.

Hubby and I decided we would be married 2 yrs before we talked about when to have a baby. My son was born 6 weeks before our 2nd anneversery, so that didn't work out. Tell your hubby you understand that he does not want to have a baby today, but you need a time table. 6 months from now, 2 yrs, never? He needs to give you a better answer than "not right now" Good luckj

We were ready to start trying on our wedding night which was the 19th of October of 06. Been trying since then and nothing yet. :-( I told him I wanted to have kids and he wanted kids to before we met so we were in agreement before we got married that we were going to start trying to conceive as soon as we got married.

my husband has wanted kids for several years (we've been married for 8 years now). I don't want any, so we're not having any

when all my husbands friends had kids he started to feel left out.. It was around 30 for him..

I did'nt leave it up to him......I just quit my birth control. and well you know,he was very happy to have both children
