I asked my midwife this question and i was told that yes it is safe to use in a bath for massage and to be sniffed from a tissue or hanky to ease morning sickness and headaches.
She also told me that by using tea tree regular in a bath will help prevent or ease thrush.
She also said that regular messaging of tea tree onto the breasts will help them to maintain there muscle as it provides something that makes the hormones think that you are in puberty so it makes them grow a little and keep them perky like you have as teen. She said by doing this whilst pregnant will help them once the pregnancy is over and your breasts start to loose size and drop a little this helps to keep it all to a minI'mum.

I cant tell you if this works as im not a Dr I'm just stating what my midwife told me about tree whilst pregnant

"Not enough scientific information is available to recommend tea tree oil during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Animal studies suggest caution in the use of tea tree oil during childbirth because tea tree oil has been reported to decrease the force of spontaneous contractions, which theoretically could put the baby and mother at risk. Women who are breastfeeding should not apply tea tree oil to the breast or nipple since it may be absorbed by the infant."

I don't think that its safe to ingest while you are pregnant but if you call your doctor they will let you know. That would probably be your safest bet that way no matter what we say you know for sure. ~~ Best of luck!!
