My daughter is 6 months old and I feel like everything is so different from when my older daughter was a baby.
When my older daughter was a baby (she's going to be 3 in Aug) I gave her cereal at 4 months and fruits and vegtables and other stuff at 6.
Now I was told to hold off solids till 6 months now it seems like I have a whole lot of food to be introducing. She has been eating cereal for a couple weeks already. She eat it in the morning and before bed.
I need like a schedule kind of cause my other baby was bottle fed and this one is breast fed. Everything feels so different and I have a lot going on trying to keep my to little ones in order and I have a husband who has cancer so a lot of added stress there.
Please help me get a eating schedule for my baby.

Raleigh....I love the name too. It's his grandfathers name. The only problem is that we live in Raleigh, NC Is that too wierd to have your baby named Raleigh if you live in Raleigh. We are'nt planning on moving soon.

My baby is about 6 days old and has been pooping and peeing all the time but hasn't pooped for about a day now. Just wanting to know if thats ok or not? and how long should I let him go before calling the doc? He seems kinda fussy when you try to feed him. He is peeing just fine though......

My friend is interested in adopting a child from Haiti. The only thing standing in the way is the costs of traveling and adoption fees, etc. She believes that this is her calling and that "God will make a way"...well, I told her I would help her get information on the best ways to acquire the money needed for adoption. im having a c-section this time and i didnt mind the first one because i was had such a painful labor i couldnt feel the epidurals happening and i was so tired and drugged i didnt even notice the doctors cutting me open delivering my baby and stitching me back up.... whoever has had a scheduled c-section please tell me how it feels and what i should expect?

the father of my baby (my ex) left when i was 3 months preg. i havnt talked to or seen him at all since. ive moved on and dealt with everything on my own. he knows its past my due date. the baby hasnt been born yet but he's calling non-stop. since he's been gone for all these months, would i legally be required to have a paternity test if he calls for one? what are the legal consequences to him for not being involved for so long? he's the kind of guy that would be involved for a few months once the child is born and once he gets bored he'll leave...what can i do to legally keep him out of the child's life so the baby wont get hurt. i understand he's the bilogical father, but being a real dad is more than just being a sperm provider...

My combi drags behind from my right hand, with my child flexed tightly in my left arm whenever there is no elevator around. The Kelty is 8lbs and around $125 -200 depending on the model you get from Sportsman Warehouse. There are businesses that will match prices in the area, such as Alpine Experience. I'm ready to advance to this type of system since I'm more active now six months post childbirth and this will allow me to go hiking. My Combi stroller/car seat was about $300, but came with a well-constructed car seat that easily came in and out of the base, which remained stationary in the car. This could easily be removed from the car and placed in my stroller in minutes.

Do we like it? It has meaning behind it also, A) My names Erica and that means queenlike ruler, or leader, something along them lines. MacKenzie means born to a great leader. B)Faith has a lot of meaning to it for me, the guy ran out on me and my baby girl when he found out I was pregnant, even tho we had been dating for about 4 months, so we're going it alone and gonna need all the faith we can get. and C) I think being able to call her Kenzie for short is adorable.

OKay so I named my first girl Lily Grace. And I wanted to have a flower name in all of my girls' names. We are trying for a second child and if it's a girl I was thinking Christine Rose. My grandma that just passed May 28th 2007 middle name was Christine and my middle name is also Christine. What do you think? I just think it is nice to name my children after something God created.

these were my best friends names in High school and do you think that is wierd? The only thing is that I was a closer friend with Elizabeth, but I just don't like that for a first name personally.... So do you think you would be offened if your best friend did that to you???

*Please share even the most radical ideas (homeschool / communes / tribal practices / ANYTHING) that you've imagined or have seen in action. There has got to be a better way. It certainly takes a village to raise a child, but this public school system in the US definitely needs some major rethinking... possibly even a completely different direction.

I have been asked to babysit a 5 month old little boy in his home, while his mom is there, unpacking things from their recent move. It will be for three days, 4-5 hours a day, and she will provide lunch for me. I have a 3 month old son born a month early. He makes lots of eye contact with his father, but barely any with me, his mother. Is this normal? I thought it may be a sign of Autism but since he looks for long periods at his Dad, I don't know what is going on. Should I just see if he comes around? I constantly sing to him and hold him and caress him. I was thinking maybe I am around him too much and he is tired of me. I go back to work full time on Monday and his Dad has been going to work since he was born. Any Ideas? Thanks!

If it is possible to have a miscarriage (during the first trimester/6 weeks) and not know it obviously you can not seek medical attention. What happens then? Does a womens body function normally without any type of medical treatment? Will your doctor discover if there is any problems or complications at your next pap smear or check up? This may come across as ignorant but it is something I am just curious to know?
