There have been studies about that relating to men. Apparently the heat from the battery may be bad for sperm (reduces sperm count). Similar reasoning to men who want kids being advised to wear boxers rather than briefs (briefs keep things closer to the body, making them warmer while boxers allow for a bit cooler temperature).

That's hard to say, that hasn't been studied, but just to be safe, if I were you, I'd keep my electronics away from my lower abdomin while trying to concieve & while pregnant.

i think it just affects the man - too much heat can kill sperm.
