I am pregnant with a child that I recently found out has multiple anomalies all pointing toward a chromosomal abnormality and the doctor told me my baby won't make it. I have lots of emotions and am not quite certain how to deal with them all. I am mourning this
baby. I have my mom and a very supportive husband but he is dealing with this differently than I am. We know a lot of people who are pregnant and I am afraid I will be sad around their babies. Our neighbor is pregant, my sister in law, and a few friends. I am currently 12 weeks.

Are there any toys based on the Wonder Pets? My son loves this show-he trys to sing the phone is ringing when our phone rings! I love the songs and the message of the show (teamwork) and would love to have figures or toys that we could play with and sing to. Since they have toys of every other kids show, do they make any wonder pets items? This and the Wiggles are the only shows he is really allowed to watch, unless you count the Elmo Potty Video his nana got him!

I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby. We are having a little boy and at our 19 week ultrasound he measured at 20 weeks. Since this is my first I'm not sure what to expect but I feel like my belly should be bigger. Any thoughts?

I have been having some early preganany symptoms (sore nipples, had spotting once and bad cramps.) They also maybe just getting of of birth control. Has anyone else felt these symptoms, that were from getting off of birth control? I already had my period once last month. That's why I kind of think I might be pregnant.

When he was born, he slept with me all the time, esp. when his father and I split. So I can say that it is mainly my fault, that he will not stay in his bed through the night. Now at age 3, I am ready for him to stay in his own bed. I have tried to talk to him and turn a movie on for him, it works for a while, but I wake up and he is in my bed. What can I do that will keep him in his own bed?

i am 19 weeks preg. my boyfriend got arrested last fri and the nite after went to a female friends house party, then they went to get drunk n a club. i heard this from his mum and asked him about it he said he is not really friends with the girls? and he was also out with male friends. why is he hanging with girls he says he is not great friends with. he could have spent the night with me. am i unreasonable to ask him to stop acting this way. i really have a prob with the fact he e mails her and goes to her houseparty and i am left at home worrying. i have a prob with her being female basically. if they are not so great friends am i unreasonable to say, wait, ur not to see her again or be emailing her.

I've been on the shot this time for about two months, I haven't had any problems in the past, and did gain weight the previous times. I never had my period when I was on it before, and last month I had a long period and expelled some fleshy clots, I'm thinking that it was a misscarrage of sorts, and now I have gained quite a bit of weight. I don't want to make my boyfriend worry, we live together and it is leading to marriage and family, but now is not the right time for children (hense the BC).

She used to sleep through the night just fine but the last week or so she wakes up at the same time every morning and is still asleep but fussing/crying. She is not wide awake or anything. We give her the pacifier and she goes right back to sleep but might wake up again 30 minutes later and we have to do the same thing or she'll just stay asleep and we're getting up just the one time. Is it too soon for her to be teething? Is something else waking her up? We have white noise in the background already. She puts herself to sleep when we put her down at night initially. We don't give her the pacifier at that time. Only in the middle of the night when we want to get back to sleep. What could be causing this and what can help her sleep better?

Does anyone have experience in such matters? He struggles in a regular education setting and special ed is too slow so we adopted a dual approach in his education plan. My husband and I worry about his future. We hope to one day own our own business so he could work for us but who knows when and if that will happen. Is going to trade school his only option? Would there be other educational avenues to pursue? I know he's young but all the doctors and teachers say only time will tell where he will end up. I'd just like to know where to try starting. I see him being slighty below average intellligence-wise.

My 12 yo six grader is happy with his unearned B's. By that I mean, he doesn't try and gets B's. He is so resistant and I am so frustrated. I tell him that if he got a B after trying, I wouldn't have a problem with it; but when he's letting himself perform below his level, it's unacceptable. I want it to be unacceptable to him too. he says, "a B is better than average-it's still good."

He is picked on at school because he's more of a "book" kid than an atheletic. I keep trying to make him understand that his brain is what will triumph over these punks. And that by not trying and getting B's when he's capable of all A's, he letting people like that win. Also, I worry that when the material is more challenging to him as he gets older, because he has not honed his study skills, he will crumble. Okay, enough venting. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks

Amie and I will be sitting on the couch and our 6 year old son keeps pushing his way in between us. It is like he can't stand for us to cuddle up to one another. He is no longer content to sit on the floor when we are all watching tv. He has to be in between me and Amie.
How do I let him know that I just want to cuddle with his mother without hurting his feelings.
