I am not with the father, and havent spoken to him in 4 months. He appears to not care, so how do I go about insuring that in the future he cant come try to act like he cares, and try to have any rights?

does the baby have his last name? is he on the birth certificate? first off he should be paying child support, if i were you i would go to a judge get papers that say you have full custody (a decree) and then get the child support started, you didnt get yourself pregnant so if he cant help physically make him help financially!

He will have rights no matter what but its kinda up 2 you if you really want him apart of the baby's life its something you really have 2 think about

If you have this child, the father has as much rights to him/her as you. If you kill it, then no one has to worry about it. Give the child up for adoption to a family with mature parents than can give him/her a good life. You are obviously not responsible enough to use birth control, much less to take care of a child.

i don't think he can have a claim over a baby,unles he is staying with u,or is present at the time of birth
