Today is day 26 of my cycle, I am having a little brown discharge only when I go to the bathroom, is this a sign that I may not be pregnant?

Firstly - this may be normal but i don't know! Many of my friends have littl'uns who slept right through from small (lucky swines) so they can't really give me any advice about this. My health visitor used to be helpful, if only for bouncing concerns off, but due to cutbacks i now no longer have a one!
Basically she wakes on average 4 times a night,she doesn't cry at all but she shouts! We have tried to ignore her in the hopes she will get herself back off but she keeps going and going until she has shouted herself fully awake! We've also tried controlled crying. The only way to get her back off again is to go through and give her a little milk. Then she'll sleep again for a few hours. She has a nap during the day of about an hour (sometimes more) but she could easily sleep for about 3 hours in the day if i let her. We are getting more and more exhausted and don't want this to continue when she's a tweenie! Has anyone been though anything similar? Do you have any tips?

I am having pains shooting through my back then my stomach will get real tight and then when it lets up the baby moves around a bit and I feel alot of pressure. When I stand up it feels like a leg stuck in my cervix, kind of hard to explain just a real uncomfortable feeling. I just called my docs nurse and she said he didnt want to check me cause if I aint dialated right now I could be in a few hours but if I went into labor it would be okay to go ahead and deliver so he isnt worried about anything right now. What do you think this could be, labor near?

I'm 4 months preg and can feel on and off a long oblong lump stretching from side to side across my belly just under my bellybutton. I'm sure this can't be my uterus at this stage in the game, so it must be some organ or something? anyone else have this or know what i'm feeling?

Do you let your child have YOUR ABC gum or any other food from your mouth? I have often seen parents chew food for their small children...then put into their mouths. Do you think this is o.k. to do?

im 17 years old.. i havent had a period since late november.. my birthday was in december and i didnt get it all that month. janurary came and first 3 or 4 days i had like light brown stuff. that stopped and a week late it came again but it was darker this time then went to a light red. but it wasnt enough for me to use a tampon or anything. that lasted for about 5 or 6 days.. then now my breast(nipples) are really sore and hard. and im having like really WHITE discharge.. feels like im peeing. but its just all white. i toke 3 pregnancy test.. 1 was first respone and it said no. then the other 2 i took today were from doller geneneral and it also said no..
wat should i do?? and is it possible i am pregnant??

My husband and I are expecting our first child...a boy....July 1st. It took us 4 1/2 years to conceive this child so of course we are extremely thrilled. We just found out it was a boy and are very excited. So far the name we have picked out is

Alexander James-Ray.

Alex was my second choice that my husband liked better than Seth (my first choice) and James and Ray are the grandfather's middle names that we want to use. What do you think of this name? We will call him Alex. Do you think it is simple enough but unique enough? Do you think he will like his name when he is older?

Mine started, then stopped. For over a month now, if I try to get her to say 'mama' she laughs and says 'dada'. It's weird, too, because if she is upset, hurt, or hungry, I'm the one she wants- but she'll cry 'dada' while reaching for me.

Im Feeling Nauseous And Have a Very Light Headache I had a m/c in late dec.My periods started again on the 23rd jan I did a pg test on sat and it came back neg.But today I have woke up with tender breasts and I feel nauseous and have a bit of headache. I feel now like I did when I was pg could this be poss of is it too soon to tell as the test I did was neg!Can you feel like this so early in pg as if I was I would only be 3-4weeks?But feeling like this doesnt answer why I got a neg result.Can someone please help thanks xxxx

I know its different but I really like the name Dixie for a girl when I have one.....I cant think of a middle name though her last name will be Rose!! My grandma wants me to use her name in the name so it would be Dixie Jane Rose and I dont know if I like that!!

is slight cramping in the lower part of your stomach mainly on the sides, and lower back pain a sign of implantaion??? me and my bf had sex multiple times a day on the 14th 15th, and 16th day after the first day of my period, and he never pulled out or any thing. i have been off bc for almost 5 months. and i was on the pill before so ya. we really want a baby, and since i was ovulating when we had sex. i am pretty confident. i would not have definate symptoms yet, and it is to soon to take a test. but could those things be early signs pf implantainon????

For women who have already breastfed...
am breastfeeding my new baby (also my first baby). What age do you think the baby should be weaned off the nipple and onto a sippy cup? Is six to nine months too soon?
(The sippy cup will have breastmilk in it.)
ALSO - when a baby begins teething, will she bite at my nipples? I'm worried she might hurt me.

I've been trying to get my baby to get himself to sleep i/o rocking, breastfeeding, etc... When he's tired, i put him in his crib but i stay next to him and pat him and "shhh" so he knows i'm there. he cries the whole time and i know he wants me to pick him up. i don't pick him up but i stay there w/ him. eventually, the crying gets less and less and he drifts off to sleep, the same way it would if we let him cry it out. i'm wondering if this method is any better for him than if i were to really let him cry it out by leaving the room. does it have the same effects like potentially causing him to trust us less and be more clingy? and if it's better, does this method work and will it eventually cause him to get himself to sleep w/out crying when i put him down, which is my ultimate goal? and if there are better methods, please let me know!

She is not allergic to her formula (same she has been on since I could no longer breast feed), nor is she allergic to any solids I've fed her. I know you're supposed to wait until they are at least 12 months old, but she seems to have lost her taste for formula and loves to drink from a cup(water). Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

This is my first pregnancy and I am very confused..How will I be able to tell if I am in labor or not? I'm 40 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of days I have had period like contractions.. Their timing was off though. Some would be 5 minutes apart.. then 10. This is ever since Friday.. Last night I lost my mucus plug, it was thick and jelly like, very gross if you ask me. So I was sure I was in labor. I decided to wait it out to see if they got stronger and came more frequently and they didn't. So then today came and they happend maybe for another hour then stopped compleatly. Am I in labor? I don't think they were Braxon Hicks because these were strong and frequent. But if not labor.. what is it?

im 28 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend pressures me in having sex or just plain flat out insult me cuz ill critasize him on his driving or hes eating with his mouth open ect. some times he tells my that hell cheat on me with the grimeyest of all the girls around my house and hell call me a skank and tell me hell get with other girls and tell me go f off and just being plain spiteful and hurtful. after 2 hours of fighting and me crying madly hell realize im pregnant after me reminding him 8 million times. sometimes hell say something bad and ill leave to let him think about why im upset and hell yell to me "you slut your cut *****" when i keep walking hell run after me and say "i love you baby and im so sorry..." then if dont take his apology he'll tell me im cut again. but when were not fighting well be on cloud nine together. i dont know what to do. im 28 weeks pregnant and my daughter dont need feel mommy stressed. but hes my daughters father and i love so much! i dont know what to do
