Yes, it is possible. I've heard of babies being born w/ a tooth. My son was 7 months when he got his first one but it varies greatly. It was just like you described, a white, hard bump (it looked a little swollen). Maybe she wants to get them early and get it over with, that would be nice, lol.

Absolutely, Seems we are all in agreement but I wanted to add a few things. I learned that the teeth move slowly to the surface so in actuality the baby is always teething until the teet break through the surface it just gets worse when they erupt (or break through) My first didn't get teeth until one year but drooled and fussed like she would get them any day. My second has a full set of teeth at 14 month she stated at 5 months.

Absolutely. My daughter was two months when she started teething. They can start teething way before they get any teeth. We use to put a wet wash cloth in the fridge and let her chew on that. It seemed to help a little.

Hope the baby feels better.

I agree with the others - it is probaby the first tooth ;) My son started teething at about that age and by 12 months old he had all of his teeth... Some children just teeth earlier than others, just as some walk earlier and talk earlier, etc... So congratulations on this milestone! :)

Yes it is. There are babies even born with teeth. My oldest cut her first 2 teeth at 10 weeks old.

It's probably a tooth. It's normal for some kids to get teeth early.

I have heard about children born with teeth, so anything is possible. Has she been fretful lately? That will probably be a clue.
