he's been breastfeeding exclusively.i tried different kind of nipple but none of these work. i need to work 20 days from now (night shift).

My 18mth old has recently migrated to his own bed. The first week was fairly good only sometimes getting out, but in this second week he has now made a game out of it by constantly getting out.

I have kind of worked out a way around this. I just hope I am doing the 'right' thing.

I let him have his bottle (which he doesn't fall asleep on, so I can't see what the problem is by letting him have it in bed). Then this is when the problem starts, he will then either stand at the door and try to get our attention or just run into the lounge room.

I then put him to bed several times b4 I shut the door (for 2 minutes only), which in this time he cries and then I can put him back in bed and sit with him (without eye contact) until he is too tired to worry about leaving the bed.

Is this too harsh or am I doing the right thing?

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have recently felt a hungry feeling in my tummy...its not a grumble but a wierd hungry feeling. This feeling has become more regular and often occurs after i have eaten a big meal- no way i could still be hungry.

Could this be my baby moving?

I once went to see a doctor because i had sex with my previous boyfriend for 6 months and i never got pregnant. Now he told me that my uterus was not straight and was pointed to the left. He said i could have a baby but my partner and i would have to have sex like every day of the week. Is this true? Am no longer with my ex but i feel it will affect me in future when i decide to get married. How can i be certain that i will be able to conceive?

TTC.. last period Jan12 due to get period Friday Feb 9... I have been having tender breasts for the past week (which i sometimes get with period) but this past Sat (Feb 3) I was having signifigant cramps. They felt like period cramps. I have NEVER gotten cramps early, in fact i usually dont get them until a day or two into my period. I did not have and discharge or bleeding but did have tender breasts and nipples. These cramps lasted 12-24 hours. The cramps are now gone for the most part but I have been bloated and have had bad gas (i rarley ever have gas). My question is has anyone had these symptoms and been pregnant? Could this have been implantation even if there was no spotting or discharge? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I am not this girl's parent or sibling, I am just a very caring friend. I'm 17 and I know she'll listen more to me than anybody else, including her parents. Today she got a progress report saying that she has a lot of missing work. I had a talk with her and obviously she wasn't happy with what I had to say. I'd really like to be able to help her get this under control. She stays after school a lot and her parents have given up because she doesn't listen to a word they say. She constantly lies to her family about having done her homework. What have you found effective in motivating little kids? Especially kids who are in the "I don't give a $hit about school" mood?

This may seem silly, but I was wondering??? I have heard alot of people talk about introducing your baby to music and stories before they are even born. I have had friends who taped themselves telling stories, have gotten books downloaded and have recored music of differnet kinds and then had headphones so their baby can listen to them while still in their tummies. Has anyone done this? Can they really hear it? Do you think it is good idea? Anyone know any places on internet that have studies that discuss this topic?

its not cause she's full of food caus she will only eat 5oz of milk first thing and refuses any in the day and only has 5oz at night and she has her dinner at 3 pm and the bottle at 6 pm and won't have it any later. is this ok she has yoguart and cheese in her food and eats a diet of veg meat ect

My friend was really stoned and made a mistake and had unprotected sex with a mutual friend of ours on the 24 or 25th of January. She was supposed to get her peroid on the 1st of febuary and is 5 days late. Even though she has been getting plenty of sleep she has been exshuated the last couple of days and feeling nuasea(can't spell sorry) and has been vomting at different times of the day but usually in the morning or at night. Even though she gets plenty to eat she never seems full. Also her boobs have been a little sore also. Any advice please. Also she if she is pregant she does not want to tell our mutual friend and I think he should know. Should I tell him if she is pregant or let him find out for himself cause it is a small town and there is alot of gossip in it?

my last period had started on 8th of jan...i had sex with my bf on 23rd of jan...i want to know was it very fertile period???? usually my periods come just a week b4 the last date,as yet its still not come..im constantly having signs that it will start since a week, but wen i check its not there...yesterday i had very light bleeding which vanished in no time...was rusted brown in color too little to stain....then after almost 30 hours it again started and its still the same...very light, could this be the implantation bleeding????

her younger brother keep pulling her bra ,making fun of her new body calls her nasty names or yesterday when I was not around he and his friend played punch and pull the "jelly" with poor girl... they go to same school... I'm afraid he embarrasses her there... we talked to him but hubby told him if he ever touches his sister he'll take off his belt and dicipline him...you think it might work?

On Jan 17th, 2007, my dr confirmed that I was 9wks and 5days pregnant which is 7wks and 5days from my date of conception, which calculates to be on Nov 24th, 2006. My due date is Aug 17th, 2007. According to my last menstrual period (which is just a guesstimate), my ovulation days were between Nov 19th and Nov 25th, 2006. I had an affair on Nov 28th, 2006. We used a condom, however the conception dates are just too close for comfort. Do you think that there is a possibility that the other man may have fathered my unborn child?

I am pregnant w/my first child, and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who receives a discount for child care at the preschool they work for. I would like to work at a preschool (I have my required units and experience) and remember from working at a preschool a few years ago that employees with kids got discounted child care. I would like to work just part time, are discounts usually offered if you work part-time, or only if you work full-time? How much is the discount, and is it more the longer you work at the particular preschool? Does the discount apply for infants, or just preschool age children?
