I've been pregnant twice, bot unsuccesful and ended in a miscarriage. I was just wondering how long to wait to try to conceive after stopping birth control pills?

from the way I'm carrying. I am carrying quite pointy and out front. Do you think this is true or did it prove an old wives tale for you?

It seems everywhere, on Yahoo Answers and otherwise, folks are giving their kids names that are way-overly trendy, too gender-neutral, or ridiculously spelled and/or made-up. (Does anyone take into account how the KIDS will feel down the road? *rolleyes*)

Anyhoo, I've been told that a lot of my fave names are "boring", but I think they are timeless and classic. :) I also happen to prefer girls' names that actually sound FEMALE, and boys' names that actually sound MALE.

So, let's see how weird and/or boring I really am! *smirk* Here are my fave names. I'm curious what you all think. Pick as many or as few faves from each list as you wish. :)

Is it possible I'm pregnant with twins? My aunt had twins, as did one of my sisters...my breasts are more tender than with either of my other pregnancies, i'm much more moody already...no morning sickness yet though (knock on wood). Stomach feels tight already....also, maybe it's my imagination, but I feel like sometimes I can feel movement. I know I'm not further along than seven weeks, because I had an IUD at the time of my last period. Had it removed to get pregnant. Could having an IUD removed cause you to ovulate more than one egg? I know I have several questions here...I appreciate the help though.

Why do some people suggest changing your babies diaper before you feed them. My son (1 yr) often poops while I am breastfeeding him. I rather wait and change him after feeding. What do you think?

How do you retain sanity? What made you decide you had to have another child? When you made your decision, what influenced you? Lastly, do you ever regret having "too many" children? (As someone with no children and seeing how few well behaved kids, there are out there, I'm curious.)

We know our sons daycare provider personally. We are starting to question whether or not we want to keep bringing him there. How do you "nicely" tell them that he won't be coming anymore. At this point I don't care what I saw just as long as it sounds nice... (bad I know)

Before I ask how to make him fall sleep, I'd like to know why he doesnt fall sleep at night as easy as he does for his naps??
Taking naps is the easiest thing ever.... but at night time he just refuses to sleep.
HE is taking 2 or 3 naps (1 or 2 hours long) during the day.

Why is it that every day before bed time and nap time my 3 year old pulls a fit. I don't understand. It doesn't get her to stay up longer, it doesn't get her anything extra before bed, no extra attention. When she throughs a fit, I just close her door and let her cry. It only lasts about 5 minutes, but why does she bother, all it does is get me frustrated, and she is in her room so she isn't even getting satisfaction in knowing that it bothers me. Is this just some crazy 3 year old phase and is it going to end soon? Its been going on for a couple of months now.

Mom is negligent living with several boyfriends skiping apointments &was driving around with baby all night. I had stable 2bdr with 2yr old in my care at lest 6 days a week. I needed papers to permit me care so I went to court for 1/2custody with myself having primary custody. Our girl who I raised was kept from me after mom got served until court. My baby had gone year with no insurance & DHHS would not even give me this info.even though I had the baby.(I'm male) Now $2800 later, I have half custody(custody half the week)pay child support and provide 95% of the rides (one hour round trip) because I had no car when I was with the mother two years ago. I feel this was predudice & I was robed by the courts. Was I, or am I just being a jerk! Im now going to school f/t, work f/t, have our baby one day less than the mother yet pay the mother$300 a month child support. Im stil unable to enrol our baby in daycare etc.and owe$2000back health ins.Wat can I do?This is not best interest of child!

Im so scared to be a mother. Im 29 weeks pregnant with my first baby, im 19 years old, and yes the father is still around. I know im young, so no one start complaining about that please. I want to have my baby, so giving it up for adoption is not an option.

Im just afraid that i wont be a good mother. I don't know what to do with babies. i get nervous around them. Im always scared im going to drop them. They are so little.

My fiance is no good around babies either, he is nervous like i am. He wont even hold a baby that is less then 6 months old, hes afraid they will flop over or something.

I know this isn't really a question. Sorry if i wasted your time, im just worried.

I´m 20 weeks pregnant and had terrible heartburn yesterday. Last night before we went to bed I got sick and was sitting at the toilet for about an hour. This morning I woke up and drank a glass of milk, half an hour later I had to run for the toilet again (trowing up)... Did anyone else had this or is it better for me to see a doctor????

I've been having horrible cramps off and on in my lower abdomen, sort of like menstrual like cramps and gas cramps (it's not gas though) and lower back pain. I have an appointment for an ultrasound on Wednesday because I had one last week and they couldn't see a heartbeat. I was just wondering if there was still hope. Thanks so much!

I started her on enfamil and she would throw up like a projectile throw up and she would do this one day twice and then the next day once then some days none then i called doc and he switched me to simailiac lactose free for fussiness gas and spit up and she is still doing the same thing not as much but she is starting to act real fussy after she eats like she has gas we use the gas drops also...What could be the prob? At first I was doing both breast and bottle can that cause her to throw up switching like that? Would breast milk make her throw up like that? Could I just pump exclusively and feed it to her in the bottle and breast feed her when i could? I need help cause I am not too sure on what formul to use and how breast milk should make her react will she be fussy and throwing up a lot????

My 12 month old son has always been a very easy-going and mellow baby, but over the last few weeks he's started to throw little temper tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. He'll scream and swing his arms around like he's trying to hit you or whatever and he also stiffens up like a board, sometimes knocking you in the face with the back of his head when he's sitting on your lap facing out. I'm not quite sure how to handle this since he's so small. I've looked him in the eye and firmly said 'No', but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

I have wanted to be a mother my whole entire life.

I have done everything I could to get further in life. For example taking high school courses in middle school and then college courses in high school. I have always been ahead of my peers and have always had my plan set out. I was able to graduate at 16 because of all this planning I was doing and I also had quite a few Advanced Placement courses that followed me to college. After I graduated I moved in with my boyfriend.

I was going to college working full time and had a cousin [long story but he’s our dependent now] to take care of. My boyfriend and I were working into a routine and found out we were fabulous for each other so we got married. I was so close to having my degree at the time so we decided to try for a child. A year and a half later I got pregnant. I was finished with most school and really excited to become the mother I felt I prepared myself to be.

Was I wrong to want to have a child at a young age that my husband and I could and can fully support? Was that wrong after I worked so hard to get what I wanted? What am I missing out on? Drinking, drugs, or “care-free” days? I’m so sick of stereotypes and plain ignorant people. Why are people plain rude when I actually worked my butt off to become a mother? I would really love to know!
