Sorry, should have been 915mm - 3ft tall, 29.9lbs. My concern is he has very thin arms, his spine and ribs are very visible and his head seems large in comparison. He is in a shared custody - week about - situation and he is always very hungry when returned by one parent to the other. I and one parent have suspicions that the other parent is not giving him sufficient good food. We just feed him up on fruit and veg and dairy and meat and chicken. He goes to a doctor when unwell, however, generally speaking he is a very healthy boy. I would never say anything negative to or in front of a child. Just very concerned that he is so thin.

he has a regular doctor doesn't he? If so...that's his parents department...they need to inform with the Doctor.

My son is an inch or so short of 3 feet tall and maybe 31 lbs., and he's maybe a little on the thin side. It sounds like your grandson is just a little thinner than that. Maybe he's growing so fast he just isn't putting on any fat at the moment; I don't see that as a problem. And being hungry a lot seems logical when he needs to feed a growing body.
If you're worried that one parent isn't feeding him well or enough, though, that IS a problem, especially if your grandson is with that parent a lot. You/the parent should talk to the other parent about it (or maybe slip some healthy food in the kid's bag and note that it's some of his favorite stuff). If it turns out to be true that the kid isn't getting enough food there, legal action needs to be taken. If resources are available for a kid to be well-fed, there's no reason for the kid not to be well-fed. Nutrition isn't a frivolous thing; it's important.

I think you must be mistaken about the height. 915 cm? I'm only 173cm and I"m 5'9" tall.

As for weight..my 2.5 year old is only that weight now. I get a lot of negative comments about 'how skinny' he is. It's hard on the parent and even worse on a kid. If someone is criticizing you..even at that age..you know it. Do not say anything to him about being 'skinny' or 'all skin and bones'. Don't make fun of him or make him self-conscious. That's a crime. That's just as bad as telling a kid how fat he is, or how big, etc.

I am not sure how many lbs. 13.6kgs is but my son was always around the 5th percentile for his weight and 50th for height. He weighed 17lbs. at 18months old. The doctors had me taking him to specialists and doing blood tests and putting him on a high fat diet but he was just a skinny baby. He is now almost 7 and one of the tallest kids in his class and is starting to get a little meat on his bones.
