Well, I dumped my boyfriend, because he cheated on me. And he has a new girlfriend...the one he cheated on me with. And there is a new boy at school and we have become close to best friends. And I realllly think he likes me. He grabbed my butt. Is that a bad sign? Should I go out with him?? Im not sure...I am in the eigth grade, please no sick answers or...the...you shouldent be dating stuff.

It is a bad sign, u should not agree to go out with him, just yet. He may think u are cheap. Let him dance around u for some time till he really tires, even then be reluctant to go out with him. U have a chance to curb his cheap behaviour, make the most of it.

you need to think long and hard if you want him to be a good friend or boyfriend if you go out with him it could spoil that friendship when you spit up. And at your age this happens all the time as Im sure you have already have found out, sometimes just having a great friend is better than not having them at all and it sounds like you may only really want to go out with him to see if it gets to your ex-boyfriend make sure it's not to get your ex to notice other wise you could lose both

first of all, grabbing your butt is not very appropraite, even for a girl your age. In my opinion it is sick, life you are ripe fruit waiting to be picked.
But back to the question...I would wait longer. if you guys aer such good friends get to know him better. Then when you become really good friends, you will have a good understanding for eachother and a strong relationship to fall back onto if it fails. also you may be thinking rebound wise. wait longer or you'll hurt yourself more.

He grabbed your butt? What type of reputation do you have? He isn't supposed to touch you with out your permission. From the information you have provided I don't know if he likes you or thinks you're easy. Either way he has taken liberties that he shouldn't have. Drop him for someone that respects that your body is yours.

no.... you should'nt even have a b/f in the 8th grade. u should be focusing on ur school work, NOT b/f....
BUT, if he is grabbing ur butt now, what will he be wanting in a couple of months?? besides, he IS NOT showing any respect for you by doing that!!!
