What you have described is not possible. You can not be fully dilated and be out of the hospital or continue to be pregnant. Even if she were only 2cm dilated (10cm is fully dilated) she would be in the hospital for monitoring and to control her labor.
No fetal Sac? I assume she means amniotic sac, which is what the fetus grows in and contains amniotic fluid. It is not possible to be pregnant without that.
Your friend is either grossly misunderstanding what is happening or flat out lying about something. Unless she is in the hospital right now. If she is in the hospital and fully dilated then the baby will be born in the next few hours. Chances for survival are almost none at 22 weeks (thought they do exist). Also, it would be very difficult to be 10cm dilated without the baby being engaged in the pelvis (dropped) since the pressure of the fetus's head is part of what helps the cervix dilate.
Recheck what you have been told. Good luck to your friend.
EDIT: After reading your most recent information, your friend will not leave the hospital pregnant. Unfortunatly I can not see an way the baby will survive. If she were not dilated and was only lacking amniotic fluid, they could potentially help with that. The fact that there is not fluid around the baby means something is wrong with the fetus. The fetus is a major producer of amniotic fluid. If she is 10cm dilated they will have to deliver her. The risk of sitting around with no waters and full dilation longer then 24 hours is very high. Undoubtedly she will have to deliver very soon. Unfortunately the baby has very little chance of survival at 22 weeks gestation (As I said earlier, there is a chance but it is very low. A fetus is not considered viable until after 24 weeks by almost every medical standard). Whether or not they even treat the baby in the NICU after birth depends on the hospital and its facilities.

that sounds like that is missing something!?!? when someone is dialted that means the babies head is comming out of the cervix...b/c if she isnt dilated the babies head wouldnt be making its way into the real world..b/c i have been having lots of cramping and i was actually just at the hospital today and i wasnt dilated and i asked the doctor what it meant..and thats what i just told you..now on the other hand im not 100% sure what the fetal sac is but i am assuming it is where the baby has been living in for the past 22 weeks...and if there is not fetal sac..then im not sure..but you can always do some research on the computer to get your mind at ease! sorry if this doesnt help much!! and i also think your friend should go see another doctor for a second opinion b.c if the doctors keep changing his mind..that would make me a lil worried!! good luck and i wish the best for your friend!!

You have been mis informed there is no way she is fully dilated and has no fetal sac, she would have lost the baby already. No doctor will allow any women to carry a baby at any stage with no bag intact. If she is fully dilated than that baby is coming out!

you must have been misinformed as what you are describing is impossible, if she was fully dilated she would have had the baby by now, also i cant see how a baby can survive without a sac, if all this information was true she would have been admitted to hospital at full term never mind just being 22 weeks pregnant, hope everything turns out ok for your friend though

It is too early for her to go into labor. Our family usually have 6 month babies and they're great. The doctors should have her in the hospital and giving her medication to prevent the baby from coming this early. If that little one can last a couple more weeks inside, his/her chances are high. Hopefully, your friend or the babies father did not do drugs nor drink alcohol because those will truly endanger the baby. Even if the drugs or alcohol have not been used in pregnancy, that stuff will be in the babies system.

The contractions could be 'Braxton Hicks', contractions, they make you believe you're in labour. If there's no fluid around the baby urgent medical assistance is needed. If she's fully dilated aswell she should be in hospital! Get a doctor who specialises in this kinda thing quickly and get some straight answers!

Wow, sorry to hear this hon', I have no idea what is going on.
Doesn't sound good for the baby. I wouldn't tell her this until the doctor's can tell something for sure.
No fetal sac? As in no sac and no baby? Sounds like there is no sac which holds the baby, so there may be no baby. I really don't know. This is what my brain is telling me. Be there and support your friend. Sounds like she's going to miscarry whatever's inside her.

Braxton hicks before 37 weeks might desire to in basic terms final as long as 2 minutes, and might take place no better than 4 cases consistent with hour with out prompting on the spot medical assessment. Haul your self into the main important wellness midsection on your section in the present day- if no person cancontinual you, call an ambulance. I definitely have regrettably met many females individuals who might desire to have prevented preterm start had their docs taken their concerns heavily and not skipped over it as "first time jitters"- it is extra sensible to be incorrect and embarrassed interior the wellness midsection than that's to be suited and have a tragedy on your palms at abode. Edit: might desire to-be exertions in a mom who does not be attentive to what exertions sounds like isn't some thing to "make an appointment for later": get it regarded at now. you're lots extra sensible off embarrassed interior the ER considering which you went over not something, than risking the wellness of you and your infant.
