I am pregnant w/my first child, and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who receives a discount for child care at the preschool they work for. I would like to work at a preschool (I have my required units and experience) and remember from working at a preschool a few years ago that employees with kids got discounted child care. I would like to work just part time, are discounts usually offered if you work part-time, or only if you work full-time? How much is the discount, and is it more the longer you work at the particular preschool? Does the discount apply for infants, or just preschool age children?

I work at a preschool that offers 3 and 4 year old classes. We only work 3 hours a day, but also offer an extended hour lunch bunch twice a week after class. My little girl is now in the four year old class...we started at the school when she was three and she was in my friend's classroom. I get 50% off of tuition and I also get lunch bunch for for half price should I choose to use that. We also offer a week long summer camp which I also get half off. This has been the perfect job for me! I go to work with my child, I know where she is and make a little money as well. In addition to being around my own child, I have helped to educate other sweet little boys and girls. I did stay home for 5 years...nice as it was...it is nice to get out and be around others outside the house. I think this is wonderful way to feel productive, a wonderful way to make a little money while educating boys and girls and the best part: being a part of a school that is involved in the early education of your child...I have found our director is very open to our suggestions when it comes to concerns on the day to day operation of our school.
Good luck!

truly there are ppl like that everywhere and also you not in any respect understand the history of them both. it will be an identical even as your infant is going to varsity, daycare, food market, bowling alley, pals homes etc. the position would not count number. perchance if she change into not in any respect convicted of something she did no longer something incorrect. How did you already know this options is authentic? often times the actuality can get twisted really some distance. i imagine if she does her pastime precise then you fairly shouldn't care. If it bothers you too a lot then take your infant out of that day care or living house college them and safeguard them for something else of their formative years. in case you sense your infant isn't threat-free below her care because of hypothesis than locate yet another day care to positioned them in yet truly you won't be able to in any respect understand 100% that the ppl who care on your all and multiple seems "good" human beings.

I got a fantastic discount- I got it for free! All I had to do was tell my boss that I was leaving in two weeks, and I sat at home and enjoyed my OWN baby- for free! What a great deal! I got to wear my regular clothes- no more uniforms to launder, and I got a discount on gas too! Wow! I suggest you join the stay at home mom Inc. because life gets shorter everyday! You might as well work for a company who appreciates you!
