Pregnancy & Parenting - 16 January 2007

We are in 7th grade and when we do talk we exchange a paragraph or two, kinda! But we run out of things to say to each other. He has my number, I gave it to him today and I'm still waitin' for a call! But that's not really important right now! I just want things to talk to him about, but not anything like "deep" if you know what I mean. I just want a conversation you know that will let us get to know each other better and stop all the silence! But the silence that we have togethor isn't awkward, it feels kinda right. And I like just knowing that he's there beside me and stuff! So I guess my question truly is, what are some things we can talk about!?

And PLEASE no comments about I don't need to be thinking about boys and stuff because my whole life has been really devoted to school I'm an A student w/ a 1 or 2 Bs! My schoolwork is under control and I understand the concept of if my grades begin to go down then I have to put my social life or w/e on hold so please just help!

my son just went in a toddler bed about 5 days ago, it is quite a low bed, he seemed ready for a bed (has slept in other peoples beds before) and was getting too big for his cot. he just wont go to sleep in it, he gets out straight away, ive tried just putting him back over and over again, but that didnt work and ive tried putting a stairgate on his door but he just screams for hours! the 1st two nights, i slept next to him til he fell asleep, then the past 3 nights, hes gone to sleep in our bed then we've put him in his once hes asleep. has anyone got any tips please?

Okay so can you still be getting your period if your pregnant. The last time me and my boyfriend did anything was about 3 months ago. I've gotten my period since, but this time it was abnormally short and very light. Could there be a possiblility that I could be pregnant. I have absolutely no money at the moment to actually get a pregnancy test. So I'm kinda going on advice and what I'm seeing in changes in my own body.

I have a cyst on my left ovary, i'm 12 weeks pregnant,i've had it before i was pregnant, i've had a scan and the doctor said there was nothing to worry about st it was considered normal, but recently it's getting uncomftable and i have a feeling when i get bigger it's going to cause even more discomfort, can i have it removed while i am pregnant or would i have to wait untill i've had the baby/

1. What did you say?

2. Where is my ball? (then he'll answer himself "I don't know")

3. Ooohhh, maaan! Why did you break it - you broke it! (but he did it)

4. Why did you do that? (again, he's the culprit)

5. no touching (just before I'm gonna tell him)

My brother n law named all his children. Well, when they got to the last one it was down between 2 names. They decided against the one I really liked. Well, I said I would just name my daughter that. This was well before my boyfriend and I were together. Now, I am pregnant I told him the name. He hates it!! He threatens to call her by her middle name. Well, I told him he will confuse our baby. Please HELP!!! I don't know what to do. Every name he selects is awful!!!!

Is it possible for the blue veins that appear during pregnancy show up so early? I am only 4-5 dpo today and this morning I noticed lots of blue lines on my breasts that go all the way across and up my chest. I didn't think this could appear so early in pregnancy. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had my last period on December 18th. I went by my ovulation calendar to have sex on my most fertile days (We're trying to get pregnant). Last week I was dizzy, I was throwing up everywhere, and my breasts were hurting. I went to the doctor and got a test but it came up negative. They said it might have been too soon to tell. This past weekend I started getting cramps, but My breasts aren't sore anymore... What are the odds of me being pregnant?

His father and I have been divorced since he was 2yrs old. We also have a 13yr old, who after a custody battle last year was scared by his father into living with him on a 1yr trail basis. We are to go back to court in April for a review and he has already starting the mental abuse. He tells them if they don't want to live with him he won't take them on vacation, or hunting, etc. He bought them both dirt bikes for Christmas which he is now threating to take back if they don't both agree to live with him...I could go on and on about his little tricks. Any suggestions would be great!

I had my 38 week check up yesterday, I am actually going to be 39 weeks tomorrow. I had a ultrasound on Friday, and the doc who did my ultrasound said that my baby was already over 8 lbs. and she was measuring at 40 weeks 2 days. So I asked my obgyn to check the results, so she did, She said she is going to have me induced on Friday... well as she continued with my exam she checked my cervix (as usual this far in my pregnancy) and she said my cervix was still closed and it was way up there, then she really began hurting me, almost as if she was trying to pull my baby out. I wasn't sure if she striped my membranes or not. I hope she did because I am really frightened about being induced. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does it sound like she stripped my membranes? If so, how long does it take to start labor, thats if it is gonna work for me.

Ive been charting for 4 months while TTC and my period is due Saturday. Usually by this time, I have headaches, cramping and tender breasts....but nothing! I do feel extremely bloated today and my breasts are a bit swollen but not hurting. Anyone had this before? Were you pregnant...or just a later period than normal? Thanks :)

I am going to have the big ultrasound today, where they tell you the sex of the baby. I just wanted to know what happens during this ultrasound. Some people have told me they do lots of other things. Also, I am having a technition do it, not my ob, I really dont know why I guess my doctor just does that. So does that mean he wont tell me what the sex is until my doctor knows? I am so excited to find out but I dont want to have to wait longer.

Ok. I go to the doctors for my ultrasound today. I thought it would be fun to see if the old wives tales are true. I will tell you my symptoms and you tell me boy or girl. Then after I find out I will let you know.
*Sore breasts
*feet very cold
*leg hair growing faster
*round belly (basketball)
*only gained weight in the front
*crave meats and veggies
*Sick the entire pregnancy so far
*headaches all the time
*Broke out bad when I first got pregnant

What do you think? Boy or girl? Also... I have 2 girls and 1 boy already. If that makes a difference. I am 25 and got pregnant in August. Also... I am due May 25th. Thanks

He's 6 years old.Constipated - hasn't had a bowel movement for 4 days.

His stomach hurts & is bloated. I've been giving him loads of water & juice to drink.

When her tries to do a poo - he cries as it really hurts him.

So will massaging his stomach help - to loosen things up ?

when i go in to the doctors office she maybe stays in there for like 2 minutes then she is gone and tells me to see her at the naext appointment. she doesnt give me anytime to ask her questions like are the pains im feeling are normal and if there is anything i can do my back pains. im 18 years old this is my frist pregnancy and she acts like she is discussed with me because im so young and still in high school. im 7 months pregnant does anyone have advise for me.

Due to complications from a breast reduction, I had to have a nipple surgically reconstructed (simular to what they do for a masectomy). I would love to be able to breast feed for atleast a little while, but because I can only extract milk from one breast, I'm not sure if I will be able to.
