Is it harmful to give your toddler sips of sweet tea throughout the day? If yes, does anyone know of any websites that I can go to so I can find out the specifics.

My son drinks sweet tea, to me I would rather him have a small amount of sugar than chemicals that are in the sugar free stuff. You have to be sure to brush their teeth regularlly and be sure the sweet doesn't turn them off milk or water.

Good Luck

No, just watch how much of it he drinks. My son is 10 months and has always wanted sips of my sweet tea ever since he started with a cup. I even started making it with less sugar so I didn't have to worry about the sugar content. I also started making it with the decaf tea - I can't even tell the difference. Just use according to the directions on the package. If you over cook the bags it gets strong and murky easier than the regular.

Its better than juice.

I accept as true with the 1st positioned up, yet whilst she desires to have considered one of those sips, like ingesting the completed cup, in keeping with possibility attempt getting her a play teacup and fill it with water or juice, or maybe heat it up relatively and positioned some lemon and honey (if she's over a 12 months previous) in it to make her experience like she is particular by way of fact she has her very own "tea".

Heck no there is nothing in sweet tea but water, tea, caffiene, and sugar, maybe a little lemon. Don't give them a bottle of the stuff you may be peeling them off the ceiling , but it won't hurt them. If they drink a lot of tea they may be a little wired (caffiene and sugar) but that is about it. Sugar will give them cavities too.

Besides tea is full of natural floride and antioxidants. You can cut the caffiene impact by switching to decaf tea.

kids are more durable than you might think... sips of sweet tea will be fine, especially if they've hit toddler stage. just be careful because they will be more sensative to the caffiene than you or I.

Tea is a natural drink, better than any soda.

Nothing is bad as long as it is not excessivley and done too much. Too much of anything can be harmful such as vitamins.
