Is this pain shooting down your butt and proceeding down your leg? If so then there is pressure on your sciatic nerve and that pain you feel is the result of that. You shouldn't however be experiencing this so early in your pregnancy so make sure that you inform your Dr. of what is going on. Lay on your left side, this should relieve the pressure from the nerve and use a heating pad if the pain still persists. I had this when I was at like 16-26 weeks and I will still occasionally get some shooting pain. Good Luck :)

Firwst of all, you have my sympathy! Pregnancy, as wonderful as it is, can bring many unpleasant symptoms with it. If I were you I would plan a visit with my doctor just to be sure everything's alright and that you an dyour baby are both healthy. I would guess that it's hormone related (my cousin had various areas on her body where she experienced shooting pain frequently while pregnant), but I'm not doctor. Best of luck with th enext 15 weeks!

The Sciatica nerve that runs down the spine into your leg Is now being pushed on it happens as the baby grows and the space he/she occupies get small things get pushed aside pressed on etc.. when you turn or bend over it irritates the nerves hence the pain, it is important to stretch and try to stay mobile.

Sciatic nerve. I'd get into see a chiropractor to see if there is a way to relieve the pain without meds since you are pregnant.
If you don't want to go that route, alternate cold and heat.

Yep, I have it too! 21 weeks along, but have had it for a while. This is your joints loosening due to the hormone Relaxin that allows your pelvis to stretch preparing for delivery. I just try to exercise and not spend too much time on my feet b/c that makes it worse. Also, stretching helps.

This is sciatica pain. Trust me, I know, I suffer from it myself. Bring this to your doctors attention, but it is most likely from the babys position in you. My first daughter laid very heavily on my right side and the pain was intense.

The baby might be resting right on your cockus bone.. (tail bone) Yes it hurts.. mine even burned alittle depending on how i sat. I had to carry a round pillow with me everywhere. Later my doctor allowed me to start mat. leave early due to not being able to sit at desk anymore. Good luck.
