Pregnancy & Parenting - 16 January 2007

I've been on birth control for about 2 years now. I've missed them before but about a week ago I missed one or two of them and i don't take them at the same time everyday. In the last week or so i've been eating a lot and feel sick but i am on some strong meds that could do this. I had my period about 2 1/2 weeks ago and 1 1/2 weeks ago i got it again very light for about 3 days. Is it possible for me to be pregnant?

My Jan period was due JAn 6 -nothing- so I'm 10 days late I have taken 2 hpt both negative, I also took a blood test on Fri which also came back negative do I still have the possibiliyty of being pregnant?

I have a 5 month old baby girl[ 2 days shy ]. She had her first tooth like 1 week ago.concerned abt her sleeping.she sleeps straight 10 hrs in night.gets up for a feed at 10am again sleeps at 12.30...sleeps again at 2pm sleeps again at 4pm and sleeps every 2 hrs.night she can go to sleep at 10pm or 1am ...is t normal she sleeps forver ?no fever..should i be worred

I just found a pencil drawing that my 13 year old son made. A few drawings of nude women with big breasts. One of a nude man and a nude woman standing in front of each other. The man has an erect penis. I don't know what to say to him about this. I also have a 10 year old daughter at home. This drawing wasn't hidden and it's not one that I would appreciate my daughter finding. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

I am 38 weeks 5 days pregnant with my second child. A week ago I was 3 cm dilated. I have persistant back pain in my lower back today that is not going away at all. Could I be in labor or could I have over done in with cleaning my house this weekend?

My uncle has 3 girls and can't wait for a grandson. He has 2 granddaugthers. When his daugther was pregnant, he prayed for a boy, but it was a girl. He still loves his daugthers and granddaugthers so much but he really wants a boy and when we talk about it, he gets very angry and says that its important for men to have a boy to carry on their name. Do other men feel that way, my fiance was happy for a girl and said a boy is not necessary. How do other men feel?

When did your periods return? I always thought it doesn't come back until after you stop nursing, but I just got mine and I am still nursing my 71/2 month old son, although I have slowed down on how many times he nurses. Will this affect him nursing at all?

I'm a mother of three, i've had many miscarriages, and I think I'm pg. I weigh about 120, but my stomach is popping out as if I were 6 months pregnant, boobs sore as hell and bigger, dizzy, sick to stomach, and bad cramps for the last 2 days. I took an e.p.t. test this a.m. I could see an extremely faint plus sign, (this has happened before). I started bleeding on 12-25, very light, lasted for about 5 days. It started 7 days too soon, though. This is driving me crazy! HELP!! Gotta go puke now, seriously. Thanks in advance.

I need some advice on myh 4 yr old daughter. When I tell her to do something or I get on to her for making bad choices she screams at me. She also says your not my mommy anymore. Now when it comes to her father if he gets on her she listens. You need to know that she lives with me and not him. He also only sees the kids like once a week or every two weeks. He doesn't see them every day. What can I do to get her to stop doing that? She also tells me no and that she is going to tell daddy. It just drives me crazy that I always have to be the bad guy. I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 1st and I know I shouldn't compare myself to other pregnant women as we're all different, but I can't help it. I feel like my belly is small and it worries me. I look more like 5-6 months pregnant, then close to 9 months! My doctor measures me and doesn't seem concerned but I can't help but worry that my baby is going to be very small or that she's not growing properly. Plus I have been carrying super low this entire pregnancy and not high like most women. Baby looked good at my 22 week ultrasound though. Am I worrying too much?

Over the weekend (Saturday, to be exact) my husband and I were "having some fun." Afterward, I went to take a shower and took out my NuvaRing and forgot to put it back in.

I didn't realize the mistake until almost six hours later. However, we were in another city and so it was a total of 10 hours (or possibly more) before I could put it back in.

Now, it's only been three days, but my husband thinks I may be pregnant. My period isn't due for another week and a half and I think it may be too early for a pregnancy test, but I'm not sure, this is the only "oops" we've ever had. I'm having no symptoms, but it's still only been three days.

My husband and I have been talking about kids and so this wouldn't be a bad thing, just a little earlier than planned.

What are the chances that I am pregnant for just leaving the ring out for 10 hours after sex?

and...

What would be the best course of action to be SURE? Doctor? Wait? Home pregnancy test? What?

It's not like a pacifier where we could ween it off of him. We can't very well take away his fingers. He sucks them almost constantly since he was in my womb. Sometimes we have to tell him to take his fingers out of his mouth when he talks because we can't understand him. Also, do you think that sucking his two fingers will not do as much damage to his teeth as if he were sucking is thumb? Can you give me some ideas that have actually worked.

I know this question might sound really stupid, but I am asking anyway. My husband and I are trying to conceive but he is convinced that he can't get me pregnant because when he ejaculates inside me most of it runs back out. I had the same thought before but didn't voice it to him but, it does seem that he isn't going deep enough for anything to stay inside. Is this possible and if so, what can we do about it?
