you don't get anything "back" for children, you get to write a portion off of your income.

I just filed taxes and claimed 1 child...my federal return is $3.200 after the tax place took out their fee. Not to mention you get a bit back from state too!!

almost 3,000 it can very where you live some pay 3000, some 2800, 2000, 1700. So it ranges to where you live we get back 3000 and then 1800 for the next it goes from there. Hope thiss helps. GL

It depends. You don't always get the full child tax credit that you can get. We have 4 kids, we get about 5-6K back every year.

it depends on where you llive, like in illinois we have a child tax redit, so for ever child its automatically $1000, plus more if you pay for daycare, the driving expences, depends on if you spent more than the tax cutoff on medical bills... we would average only about 2600 for both our kids.
