I'm not sure I follow your question -- did you actually have a period that started Dec 22, or did you just spot when you would normally have had full bleeding? Either way, I'm assuming you normally bleed longer than 2 days (which would be very short), yes?

It is not unusual for women to experience some light bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy. For many women, this happens around the time they would normally have expected a full-blown period. Some women (not as many as people think, though) experience what's called implantation bleeding -- spotting that can occur as an embryo burrows safely and deeply into the uterine lining. But, that would occur around implantation or several days later (as the embryo burrows deeper), so the timing doesn't sound quite right in this case (for your bleeding to have been a sign of implantation).

Either way, what it means is it's time to take a pregnancy test. If you've been sexually active and you missed your period, you should take a test. As frustrating as it is, the symptoms of early pregnancy and the symptoms of pending menstruation are usually indiscernable, really -- unless, of course, you're further along than you/we think and were already pregnant at your last bleed. In any case, the only way to tell is to take a test. The home urine tests are extremely accurate -- 99 percent of the time a doctor's office runs a urine test anyway, and the nursing staff will tell you, there's no difference in the tests' accuracy in that case! However, the tests work by detecting human chorionic gonadotrophin, or hcg, a hormone your body manufactures when you're pregnant; in very early pregnancy there may not be enough of the hormone for a test to detect it. So, since it sounds like you don't know when conception would or could have occurred, I would wait until your next period comes due to test. Taking a test "too early" could yield a negative result even if you're pregnant, if there's just not enough hcg yet to be detected.

I hope you get the results you're looking for. Good luck.

What are you asking? Iam not sure I understand.

If you think you have the symptoms of pregnancy, hows about taking a pregnancy test, or having blood work done.

Otherwise, just wait it out. Women skip their periods all the time, as a result your hormones go nuts and you have all sorts of crazy PMS symptoms.

There are NO pregnancy symptoms that are any different from PMS ones, and you can get new and stronger ones at any time.

I suggest blood work. That will help the most.

Sweetie, you need to go get a home pregnancy test, just to be sure, because your symptoms sound like early pregnancy. The spotting you got may be implantation bleeding. If you're not pregnant, you might arrange to get a physical with blood work to check for anemia or hypothyroidism. If you are pregnant, see your OB/GYN right away. Best of luck!

There are drugs available to help with the stages of menopause and make it much less stressful for you. Take care!

take a pregnancy test. i don't think you are pregnant though. you don't have the frequent bathroom sessions and cry a lot until later in your pregnancy. either way, call your doctor. if you are not pregnant, it's probably a hormone thing and you'll take some meds and be fine. definitely call your doctor.
