At 3 1/2 years of age a child should no longer need his baby bottle, but my son keeps holding on to his (especially at night), and everytime I try, it ends up in a huge, HUGE tantrum... Please help

My wife is 8 months pregnant, and we are expecting a boy. When we got her sonogram at 5 months, to find the sex of the baby, we were told it was a girl. The next two times, we were still told it was a girl. That was two weeks ago! Today we went for ANOTHER free sonogram, the 3D kind... and the lady found out the baby had testicles!!! It's a boy!!! We had already had the shower, so all our clothes, stroller, crib, etc. is all for a girl. We already had the name Kassandra Dayana picked out for ""her"". Basically, the name we're gonna use now is Trystan. I just can't find a good middle name. Can anyone help?

My daughter came home from school yesterday having heard someone say there was a serial killer about (referring of course to recent events in Ipswich) and then saw the headlines in my newspaper and asked us what a serial killer was. We replied that it wasn't something she needed to know. She then asked if it was to do with killing tigers and when we asked her where she got that idea from she said they had asked their PE teacher and he had told them that a serial killer killed tigers. She was very doubtful about that reply though. Now she won't leave it alone and has asked constantly.

How do we reply? She has so far had a very sheltered upbringing and I want it to stay that way for the time being. I remember when I was 8 hearing on the news about the Black panther murderer and I had nightmares about it for years and it still haunts me to this day and I don't want my daughter to have a similar experience.

if your 7 yr old son and 6 yr old female cousin would go into room, lock the door and strip to explore the differences between the male and female body. of course it is not sexual, but would you stop it or not? or would you encourage a franker discussion with you there?

i am 40 weeks pregnant,and my stomach feels so crampy all the time and sometimes i get some sharp abdominal pains which go away after a few seconds,also in the last three days my stomach is tightening(getting hard) like every ten minutes,but nothing painful and not at the same time with the sharp pains.did anybody experience this?what could all this be?

I have had 1,2 day spotting on and off for 3 weeks now. I took a test last night that came up positive, but now I'm wondering why all the spotting. I am waiting to hear back from the nurse about a blood test, but just curious if I should be worried myself with this or just wait to see what happens. We have been trying for over a year to get pregnant and now with a positive result, I would be devestated if something happened.

Got him a game for gamecube, DVD, toy fish tank, coloring book, crayons, markers, 2 books to read, toothbrush, toothpaste, gumball machine, extra gumballs, lifesavers x-mas pack, puzzle, 3 brainteaser puzzles, alarm clock, camera, handheld electronic game, and a flshlight. Is that overdoing it? His older stepbrother, 15 yrs old, is getting a new computer and a cell phone. Is that all right? I worry that the 15 year old will feel a bit jealous because the 6 yr old got more to open than he did. Its our first x-mas together as a family and I'm kinda worried that the 15 yr old won't feel comfortable, after all, before I met his Dad he was an only child and it must be weird to hear another little kid calling his Dad Daddy. Or am I worrying over nothing?

I am looking to name my next son Giovanni. His brother is Maximillian . A bit of history, I am from Croatia and my wife is American, but born in Germany and has an Italian father. Her maiden name was Italiano.

So with I am looking at naming our 5th and last kid Giovanni. I am 6'2" blonde and feel these names may be a good name to grow into.

All right, I'm having a huge problem. I'm a single mom with a 4 year old daughter. She hasn't seen her bio-father in 3 years; he gave up his parental rights when we divorced. He has ADD, Bi-polar, anxiety, and depression. I am (normally) a very calm person, it takes a lot to make me stressed, and I am STRESSED!!! I know a lot of it is my fault, I've given into her at times, I haven't been as consistant as I should be, and our routine has gone to hell. I'm paying for it now. She throws one tantrum after another; screaming, violent tantrums. She does things to spite me. Tonight she cut her hair for the 4th time! She got scissors out of the trash and hid them up in her room. When I sent her to her room she cut off her hair (made me furious). There are times when she is just the sweetest child ever, and then all of a sudden she goes into these rages. I don't know what to do anymore. Any advice would be appreciated, and if you need any more info, I'd be happy to oblige.

ok i am 33 wks pregnant ive had 2 kids and with them my mucus plug came out all at once. but last week i had this stringy snot looking stuff come out but not alot. then last night i had the same. i have heard that the mucus plug can come out in pieces or all at once. my question is how ever is there any other reasons for me to have thick discharge like this? i now i dont have any infections or stds. so is this discharge just part of my mucus plug? and thank you to who ever awnsers my question

You have to be sick of hearing these questions, so Im ready for smart comments, but to the adults that know...... My LH surge was detected on 12-10....... I hear about the sticky white discharge when you ovulate...... What does it mean if its like a watery white...... We did it on 12-9, 12-12,........Does it sound like I missed it ? I feel cramps (light cramps on my left side) My period isn't due for 1 1/2 -2 weeks........To the women that check the discharge for ovulation period, do you ever see a watery white ? And if so, did you get pregnant ?

People just answered my other question about my hotness and said why didn't i have a real pic on here of myself but i think that is kind of dangerous for all of the child molesters and stalkers online so why would you even put a picture of your baby or yourself on here? My brother, is nearly 16 years old. Every year just my family do secret santa. This year i got my brother. He's one of those guys that has everything! eg, ipod, phone, tv, xbox 206, p2s.
