my friend from high school keeps talking about her newborn baby. when we email. Which is fine. But it can get annoying when she talks about her baby wayyyy too much when we email. I know she is proud of her baby and she is ecstatic. But maybe I am jealous because she doesn't ask me about my life. I have older child too but I do not flaunt him. I only talk about him, when asked. How do I tell my friend that she talks about her newborn wayy to much without sounding rude?

My husband and I recently found out he has a 1 year old daughter. He had slept with an ex girlfriend right before we got together. Four months into are marriage we were slapped with a paternity test for child support. We tried to see the baby .It was on her terms and complete intimidation from her parents. So now we are paying a lot of money , not seeing her , and his lawyer is telling him to kiss her *** to see the baby. It just doesnt seem right.
Can we go to court on our own (without a lawyer). Ask for joint physical custody. Have her name changed to ours. And have him put on the birth certificate. We want to be part of her life not just a paycheck. We live in california, Any advice? Thanks

I am on day 31. I am taking Clomid days 3-7 to ovulate, and then Prometrium on days 18-30 to thicken the uterine walls to aid in implantation. Because of it keeping the lining there, i wouldn't have a period until i stop the meds. I stopped last night and now i either have to wait for a period or to see if i'm pregnant. My nipples have been tender for a week now and i sort of feel like i could start. (when i was pregnant in may (miscarried) i felt as though i could start at any minute). Just wondering if anyone had been on this drug and how long it took to see if they were pregnant or to start their period (if i ovulated this month...based on an ultrasound, it wouldn't have happened until day 20). Thanks.

Ten years ago, I had these little things that clipped onto my kids' shoe laces to keep them from untieing them. Now I have an 18 month old that gets her shoes off faster than I can get them back on!!! Has anyone seen these recently? I have searched every shopping link I can think of, even specialty shoe stores, and have come up empty. Any help at all would be much appreciated as I don't really enjoy my new career of re-shoeing my toddler!!! LOL Thank you!

I took a pregnancy test early in the morning and our lights were still out and I thought it was negative because I only saw the one line. About 10-15 minutes later when I got up and turned on the lights I noticed there was a second line, but it was much lighter than the other line. When I came home 9 hrs later I could still see both lines, one much darker than the other. How do I interpret this? It's only been a few days since my expected period.

can you have all negitive pregnancy tests but still be pregnant??? with my son i had a postive test on all 5 tests that i took and it took less then a second for that line to pop up i took two tests they both said negitive but something wierd is telling me that im pregnant i dont know what it is

how accurate would your estimated date of conception be if you were going by the due date given to you from an ultrasound? for instance my ultrasound said that i was due december 10 and according to that then i concieved around march 19. in other words if i am checking my conception date with the due date given to me by an ultrasound would that be more accurate then trying to figure out your conception date using the 28 day cycle and lmp method?

I got my period last month on the 7th. Around 30 day cycles, making me around 8, 9 days late. I had a stressful month, but I dont think I should be this late because of stress. I have taken 3 tests. I took one first response test on the 6th day late, one on the 7th day late, and a nurse at my college took another on the 8th day late. All negative... But I still have no period. I am an extremely nervous person and I cant do anything while this is going on, which I know is making it worse. I'm not sure what to do. Although my partner never came in me, and 70 percent of the time used protection I knwo theres still a chance and I know im stupid. Trust me I know. Im just looking for answers as to why I havent had it yet. Could I still be pregnant? Or is this just stress? Has this happend to anyone? Please help. Anything will help.

And it really saddens me to hear about these young people making decisions that they are not educated about. As a Christian who made some really stupid decisions as a teenager, I really support abstinence. There are so many emotional and physical risks. But in reality, not everyone is going to abstain. I'm interested to know other's opinions about helping teenagers smarten up when it comes to sex. We have so many teenagers getting pregnant and getting STDs. I really think they get in over their head before they know what they're doing. Do you support abstinence or sex education? What means would you use to spread your beliefs? I'm not looking for a debate or to criticize other's opinions, it just really hit me tonight how many young people we have who are sexually active that aren't at all educated about the risks they are taking. All serious answers are welcome.

I'm having really acute pain in my lower back on the right side that continues around to my front, still only right side though. I'm 22 weeks pregnant. Any suggestions? Two of my boys (14 and 11) did something really stupid this afternoon and I'm so frustrated about now. Before dinner tonight they decided to use our garden as slip'n slide. I'm not kidding. It is extremely muddy out there and they showed up at the back door just caked in mud. They both completed ruined probably over $100.00 in clothes and shoes.

I expect my 11 year old to act up sometimes but my 14 year old is acting like he's 10. So anyway, I had them both strip down outside at the backdoor. I took them both upstairs and threw them both in the shower and rinced them off.

Both of my kids thought it was funny and were really smart about it so I told them they earned a spanking and they are grounded from outside for a week. I spanked the 11 year old right after we got done in the bathroom and my 14 year old just got it from my hubby about 15 minutes ago. We don't spank the kids that often, but I feel they deserved it.
