If he's in size 3 diapers you can get Pampers First Steps or Easy Ups if he's in size 4.

Duct tape!

Seriously. That was the ONLY WAY to keep my nephew's diaper on when he was younger.

Try a onesie first. Maybe he won't be able to get it off with the thing fastened between his legs. That worked for my nephew for ... oh, two days.

After that we had to use tape. We'd already been through every brand and style of diaper. We used to put it around the top, a little tight but not tighter than his clothes, to cover the tabs and touch the skin just a little. But that makes it hard to change him, I know ... we had to use blunt Fiskars to cut it. It sticks well.

His doctor, by the way, had no problem with this. He said it wouldn't hurt a thing and was better than forcing him to potty train too early.

If you can't get pants on him, use shorts. Anything that will inhibit him from taking it off. Maybe even just a diaper cover?

But, if he's tearing it off, maybe it's a good time to potty train? Kids love being naked, and so take advantage of it!

I know your frustration my daughter does the same thing, and I even tried putting it on backwards too. What has worked for me to keep pants or shorts on her, not jeans just the light airy ones with the elastic waste. My hubby even once put tape around her diaper while I was gone LOL

My daughter does this! That I have had to do is put her in overalls ALL the time! She can't get them off to get to the diaper so all is good. Get overalls or something like at Goodwill or something in summer clothing if are in a warm home.

If he's old enough to take his diaper off, he's old enough to potty train. If you don't feel that he's ready, put a onesie on. That would cover his diaper and still be thin enough that he won't get too hot.

Let him run around in a onsie and shorts. He will stay cool, and not be able to get his diaper off! My 17 month old son will take his diaper off if he gets a chance. One time he did it in the morning before he woke us up, pooped, and had a great old time playing in it and smearing it all over before we came in and found that he had already woke up.

start potty training. I had kids do this too. I bought them pull ups and underwear and started potty training at that time. If he's too young then try duct tape. It works great to keep diapers on. lol.

Simplest solution I can think of would be to use a rubber diaper. The ones they used to use before the beautiful invention of the disposable. It worked for me...couldn't keep that thing on for nothin' until that.

find a pair of shorts he can wear when he's at home. he doesn't have to run around in only his diaper. or find those onsies in his size that way there is a bit more to get to before taking off the diaper.
