I have just read a similar question that started me wandering & thought I'd ask you girlies out there - have any of you had no symptoms of your period coming on then discover your pregnant? Also, those who have been pregnant - how soon did the sore breasts start? Mid cycle or after day period was due??

I have PCOS i took CLomid in order to get pregnant.. I had a micro-preemie and i got my first period exactly 30 days after having my baby.. what are my chances of being "normal" this month ( this is 2 months after having the baby )? Is it possible that i could be normal? my blood sugars have been extremely normal after giving birth...

Looking for a logical answer, I will ignore any answers with religious influence or the ones that are too subjective or based only on instincts (I consider that WE have also a thing to say about it...)

I'm not interested in MY happiness (I don't want to have a child because it makes me feel better...)
I could asume responsability, and put in a lot of effort in offering 'my' child anything that is good.
I don't mean that I don't want a child OR that I want one.
But do you know WHY to have? Do you think of her/his happiness and do you have a guarantee for what you think ... you might be wrong as well.

I'm trying very hard to understand, the reason for which people have children. There must be a very good explanation for why are we in CHARGE to take the decision for a new life.

Are we having children just because ...

I'm feeling cramps and sore and tender breast, How early can implantation occur, my last period was Nov. 28, my cycles are of every 27 more or less exact. Could this feeling be implantation or something else still got 11 days till my next period never felt this way before.

I don't know what happened, when she was a baby she ate it all, carrots, peas, tomatoes.....now she won't eat them at all!! Does anyone have any good ideas on how to disguise veggies in food or drinks to help her get the nutrients she needs from eating veggies?

K..so there's a boy in or nieghborhood that is a known bully and has caused several problems. Yesterday, he was outside with my boys and some other kids and started picking on my younger son and hit him. My oldest son then punched him...HARD...in the eye. Gave him a lovely shiner. Now I punished my son and made him apologize. I understand that he should stand up for himself and his brother and that this kid deserved it, but...we have always told our boys that fighting is the last option. The reason my son got in trouble is there were numerous adults he could have brought the problem to and instead he chose to fight. Now here's where the problem comes in, he's now a local hero, all his friends are cheering him on and the other parents are quietly cheering him on too. Obviously I had to punish him right? I mean I can't promote violence as a first option.

I want my first girl's name to be Elena Nakia but i don't know what to name my baby if i have a boy. I want an unusual or not-so-common name that would sound good with a sister named Elena. (maybe a spanish name or something) Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? i like Noah and James, but they are too plain for me and i can't think of any variations of those names.

Hi all. I was trying to get pregnant and finally 3 days after my missed period I have little brounish discharge.( my menstrual cycle is never late) I really feel pregnant, but the tests I’ve made during those two days turned out negative so I’m going to do it tomorrow again.
Do you have any idea what could it be? I’m I having miscarriage?
Any suggestions are more then welcome.

Every day care center that I've talked to seem to have the same hours: 6am - 6pm. Other than in-home care (babysitters) are there any major providers that offer extended hours? Is there such a thing as 24 hour day care?

Ok here goes i'm 20 years old female engaged we had sex twice last month without protection. A few daysago I started feeling weird. My breasts have swollen to the touch the dark areas have grown and aredarker and they hurt. I have light cramping costipation like and I gag every time I try to eat. First thing I thought is I must be pregnant but then around 1 pm today I started to bleed very lightly though i've changed my tampon three times its never once been close to full. Heres the thing I've been menstrating since I was 9 and its always heavy heavy flow and long...I really need some advice. Am I or is it just a really weird period!?

he loses his temper very easily,dont get me wrong not all the time ,but when he does he throws stuff and for example rams the pc.
i am a single parent and have been separated from his father since he was a baby.this worrys me as i know boys in single parent households go off the rails easier.is this just hormones ?or does he need strong male role models?

I can never enjoy sex with my husband (we're not ready for a kid yet) because I'm obsessed with the thought of getting unwanted pregnancy. We are both grown ups and we know it is not that amazingly EASY to get pregnant - but i'm still always paranoid! We use double, or even triple protections (pills, condoms, spermicide etc) but i just can't help getting so stressed after sex. Even sometimes when we're having oral sex and there's semen on my legs i'll try to imagine 'somehow' the sperms manage to swim their ways up there and cause me to become pregnant. Cos of this im always very stressed - even after my period comes as i know many women still get their periods when pregnant.

I really need help! Do you have any personal experiences or anything to make me feel less paranoid about getting pregnant so that i can have some good sex?

original question was........My husband and I have been trying to have a baby. I've been using the ovulation calculators for help. My last period started Nov. 8th and I am pretty regular. According to the calculator I should have started my period 3 days ago. Now I know three days is not long so I don't want to jump the gun, also I took a HPT about about 3 days before I was due to get my period and it was negative. Anybody have any suggestions on when I should test again and is it possible to take a HPT at that time and still be pregnant even though it was negative. Thanks for any advice!!!

Update......it's now 4 days later so I am a week late now, took a HPT yesterday morning and still negative...I go to the doctor tomorrow for a blood test....so what I would like to know is....Is it possible for pregnancy to hormone to still be that low that it wouldn't show up on a HPT yet?....by the way I am 31, don't know if that matters.

I am 32 weeks pregnant with my second child. It' been 7 years since I had my first- so forgive me for being a bit "rusty". Anyways, with my frist daughter I remember losing my mucus plug all at once- I wiped and BAM there was a whole huge (and by huge i mean- well i dont exactly remember it was a bit smaller than a golf ball- but there was def a lot) blob of mucus. Last night I had 3 "mild" contractions and this monrning when I wiped- there was a small (by small i mean about the amount if you had blown your nose) amount of mucus on the toilette paper. This also happened on two seperate days last week. Are these just small amounts of my mucus plug?
