Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 December 2006

I am late by 9 days, I have taken 2 first response tests, one on my 6th day late, and one on the 8th (with morning go), and then went to the nurse at school and she took one (urine) and it was negative as well. I am so worried and my anxiety attacks have came back this month, I don't know whats wrong and I'm scared to death! could i still be + ? I always think im sick so this isnt helping I'm thinking up symptoms and thinking the worst, wouldn't it have shown up by now?

We are planning on trying to conceive in about 6 months, when should I take prenatal vitamins? My doc said wait until I am pregnant, but I've heard others say do it a few months before. Also is the women's one-a-day vitamin good enough to take right now?

okay so before someone goes on a rant about diet and exercise, im doing that..reguraly..what i want to know is if anyone has tried one that actually worked? i am so hungry all the time and i want something to surpress my appetitie and build my metabolism..before i got pregnant, i could eat anything and not gain a single pound...man i miss those days :) but now, i have a hit a wall when it comes to losing the baby weight...so any advice on the pills would be much appreciated..!!

i found out a few months ago that i was expecting and i was really happy but im starting to get really worried and scared because in expecting twins and im 14 weeks gone and im not even showing. my last pregnancy didnt go to well and we miscarried and i didnt even look pregnant and i was 5 months. and because im pregnant with twins and im not showing yet im starting to freak out incase there is somthing wrong. can someone please ease my mind and tell me everything is going to be alright?

Hi there - does anybody know the position of the cervix when your pregnant? I have been monitering the position regularly & usually it is hard & low before you ovulate, then it will be high & soft & then after ovulation towards next period is low & hard again. Mine is now high & soft & my period is due in a day or so, which doesnt figure! Can anyone explain?!

started back on my pill after 7 day break last tuesday (5th dec) had sex on wednesday (6th) and i've been ill over since sunday (10th) and i completly forgot to take my pill till 2day ( missed 4 days worth of pills) oh dear! anyway. 2day i've been spoting.... what do u think? is it possible?

My period is now one day late. I can't manage to get my hands on a home pregnancy test because I have no car. My fiance has to bring me one and he hasn't had time. He's also afraid of a positive result so he doesn't really want to do it. The last few days I got really suck with a fever and stuff. I don't know if my symptoms are just from being sick or what. I also know that being sick can delay your period, but I was wondering about being pregnant before I got sick. The only symptom that I don't have is sore breasts. Do a lot of women not have sore breasts this early?

I was on depo for 7 years and went off of it, the doctor put me on pill right after. I had 2 regular peroids so i thought good, my husband and i decided to try for a child. then peroids came 10 days apart, with 1 positive hpt , 1 neg and 1 neg blood test, i wanted to go back on the pill, waited for a peroid to do so, nothing, but 2 positive hpts.. can the long term use had done something to effect that... ( any one wanting to go on depo please do not)

Was their a noticable difference in the periods? Did you have them every month? Were they irregular? For women with very regular periods, did they come on the same days. Also, did anyone who kept having periods have a positive pregnancy test early in pregnancy? Answers would be much appreciated.

I did a serum beta H.C.G Blood test and the result was 0.44mIU/mL.we had sex on the day exactly on the 14th and 15th of my cycle.the pregnancy test was done 5 days after the 14th day.the laboratarian says the test is negative.but I still have a doubt.I have no other symptoms except i have to urinate often.

FIVE YEARS AGO I HAD A CONE BIOPSY DONE DUE TO CERVICAL CANCER. MY BOYRFIEND OF 2 YRS NOW AND ME HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET PREGNANT BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. I HAVE AN EIGHT YEAR OLD SON WHO IS DYING TO HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER OR SISTER. I GET ALL THE SYMPTONS OF BEING PREGNANT WHEN IM LATE BUT WHEN I TAKE THE TEST IT COME OUT NEGATIVE. I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE IM STARTING TO FEEL LIKE I HAVE A PROBLEM. DOESANYONE KNOW????

At 19 weeks, how many calories should I be intaking on a daily basis, and how many pounds should I be gaining weekly? Is there a recommended amount of intake of vitamins that I should be aware of? I take a daily prenatal multi-vitamin which consists of:
Vitamin A(beta carotene) 2700 I.U., Vitamin C(ascorbic acid) 120mg, Calcium(calcium carbonate) 200mg, Elemental Iron(carbonyl iron) 90mg, Vitamin D3(choleccalciferol) 400 I.U., Vitamin E(al-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) 10 I.U., Vitamin B1(thiamine mononitrate) 3mg, Vitamin B2(roboflavin) 3.4mg, Niacinamide 20mg, Vitamin B6(pyridoxine HCI) 20mg, Folic Acid 1mg, Vitamin B12(cyanocobalamin) 12mcg, Biotin 30mcg, Pantothenic Acid (calcium pantothenate) 6mg, Magnesium (magnesium oxide) 30mg, Zinc(zinc oxide) 15mg, Copper(cuprid oxide) 2mg, and Docusate sodium 50mg. Should I be intaking MORE of any one of these listed above (besides the folic acid)? I also take a daily pill (ferrous sulfate) which is 65 mg of elemental iron. thanks.
