i know ya'll hate the "am i pregnant" questions-- and i also know i posted already about this.
just my little disclaimer.

i'm trying to get pregnant with my husband and i'm 2 days late for my period. i am so excited and i just want to know so badly that i've tried 3 hpt's-- pathetic, i know. they were all first response and they all came up negative.
i have had some very textbook pregnancy symptoms until the last two days, i feel pretty much normal, just emotional (which i suppose could be PMS).
since i came off of birth control in november could it just be in my head that i'm pregnant, and really it's my body coming off the hormones?
i guess i just want it so badly... isn't there a way to know sooner?!

Ok. Her full legal name is going to be Chandler Raina Alauna Campbell. But we are going to call her Chandlee as a nickname since Chandler sounds too... boyish from other opinions. Do you think Chandlee will be a nice nickname for her? Her due date is March 11, 2007. James, our oldest picked out Chandler so we asked people on here what their thoughts were... they suggested Chandlee as a nickname since Chandler sounded too boyish. What do you think of Chandlee as a nickname for a girl named Chandler?
I already have a James Chandler, Emma Lee, Madison Gweneviere and hubby Blaine Victor and me, I'm just Olivia Erin.

I came off the pill in November and I haven't had a period since. My boobs are really sore and I get a few stomach cramps every so often. If my cycle hasn't changed I should be every 29 days but at the minute I'm 14 days late. I have been having sex regurly and had one or two mishaps although I have taken one pregnancy test already which was negative. What are your opinions??
thanks

When i was pregnant with my first child the nurse would always listen to the baby's heart beat. Now pregnant with baby #2 i'm going to a different practice because i moved. The office i've been going to this time the doctor only listened for the baby's heart beat once and once during the ultrasound. I was going to talk to him about it last appointment but i forgot once he asked me about my weight. Should every doctor listen to the heart beat each visit. Also they don't ask me the pee in a cup to check my iron either. Last visit they pricked my finger but that was it. Should i be concerned??

I had one done at what they decided was 8 1/2 weeks, saying my LMP was April 17th, I thought that was the latest date I could have had my period (I forgot when it was, thats why we had the ultrasond), but I originally thought it was more like the 4th of April.

Anyway, here I am at what would now be near 35 weeks, and the baby has been dropped and engaged since 32 weeks. No biggy, that happens all the time.

But at the 5 month ultrasound he was 1 pound 12 oz, when the average is about 13 oz. Thats like twice the size he should be. Okay, no biggy, that also happens, you know, different growth rates and spurts and all.

But here I am, with a fully dropped baby, and even when laying and standing I have feet under my ribs, and he's not pushing, its just where they are all the time (holy cow when he pushes under my ribs i KNOW it... its horrible... lol, and his favorite passtime). He's big! Or long..

It could be that iam farther along than they initially thought right? Maybe a week or so?

My four year old son picks his nose so bad that it bleeds. I have tried punishing him for it, swatting his had away when I catch him, everything I can think of. Does anyone have any suggestions on tricks to get him to stop? I know a lot of kids grow out of it, but this is extreme! Please no hit the kid remarks or anything like that though, I know it's gross, but I don't think it's behavior that warrants violence.

I just want to know what people think, I mean I know there are going to be people who will say that any form of hitting is abuse and it should not happen and some will say the child needs some form of spanking for discipline. I must admit I have recently started to spank my son (3 yrs old) on the butt or the arm when he is really bad and I find it works and lets him know that I am in control. Believe I will try everything else before that but hitting him just once makes a difference in his behavior. Now I used to think it is wrong to hit and never raised a hand to my child and felt that there is no need for it. But recently I have been thinking about me and my brother's childhood. My mother hit us frequently but wouldn't be considered beat us. I never have resentments towards her for that, the funny thing is that I have more resentment towards her for other things like how she wouldn't get up with me to get me ready for school, like how she never checked my homework or paperwork.
