how do i determine the sex of my baby without a scan?

the last scan i had says that my OS is clsosed, so the sex could not be seen

string and nail. hang the nail by the string and hold it up over your big ol belly. if the nail starts to move in a circle its a girl and if it moves in a side to side motion its a boy.

There are lots of old wive's tales, but they are just that. They all have about a 50% chance of working. You can always go to one of those Before the Stork places and they can identify the gender for you.

I would wait until your next scan. You should have another one in 4 weeks...you should be able to tell then!!! We got to know at 14 weeks...bc he was in the right position but they double checked at 20 when I had my big scan...we knew it was a boy bc he was holding it!!! HAHA!!!

Sometimes you can guess by the heartbeat...a slow heartbeat is a boy and a faster one is a girl...but its stilla 50/50 guessing game.

There is no other way. Unless you have an amnio done. They can tell the sex from the amnio fluids.

from what ive heard you can't tell without a scan. but why wouldn't you want to get a scan its completely harmless...
