Chandler is pretty. Why does she need to be called any thing else?
Chandler Raina Alauna Campbell. You're all that worried why not Raina?
Leave it at Chandler. Really when you come to think of all the Terry's, and or Teri's, Ricky's and or Ricci's out there and what about the Nicky's and the Nikki's there are out there.

My thoughts...make sure the name is absolutely what you want it to be, that's all. If your daughter grows up knowing that her brother picked the name, could cause problems, especially if she gets picked on in school or other public situations. There are so many nice female names out there that I would think you could pick her one too. After all, you already have Emma and Madison, right? Have you considered just naming her Raina Alauna? Or potentially Erin Raina Alauna, after you. Just thoughts, but most importantly congratulations!! It is great having a bigger family, isn't it? I have 6 =)

Two friends have sons named Chandler who both end up being called "Chan" most of the time. Personally, I think Chandlee is a horrible girl's name. But if you are definetly going to name her Chandler at least use a different spelling like Chandlar, which to me, seems more feminine. I agree with other users: if you allready named one child that, why not choose a new name for this one!?!?!

A friend of mine of Yahoo! 360 named her daughter Chandler; I think it's one of those names which works for either gender. Since a nickname is often a shortened version of a person's given name, I'd opt for "Chan" or "Chand"; the first rolls off the tongue easier, and I grew up with a Chandler whom everyone called "Chan". I think you might as well call her "Chandlee" is you're going to use the name at all; a nickname as long as the given name, at least to my ears, doesn't work.

Hmmm....I don't really like the "Chand-lee", it sounds odd to me...but I DO like "Chandler" for both boys/girls, it's a VERY cool name.
How about just plain ol "Chan" ?
I was at a party last night and the little girl running around was named Paige...and her parents were calling her "PAGEY", it sounded very weird.
There's just some names you cant have nicknames for.
But it's your baby, and congrats on that, and all the other names are very nice too!

So I'm confused you said you already have a James Chandler - Why would you use the name again on your daughter?

I personally would just name her Chandlee if thats what you plan on calling her. In my opinion Chandler is kind of a boys name and she is going to grow up knowing that her brothers middle name is her first.

I know a little girl named Chandler, I think it's cute. I don't like the name Chandlee, I doesn't sound anymore "girly" at all. I agree, however, that if you are planning on calling her Chandlee, just name her that.

You asked for opinions, I personally like the name Chandler...for a boy. If you already have a son with that name why name your daughter after him? If you like Chandlee name her that instead of a boys name. It will save her trouble in the future.
Please make the right decision for your daughters sake.

I am very glad my parents didn't let my siblings name me. You have already used the name Chandler for your son. And now you are letting him use it again for his baby sister? Raina Alauna works just fine (instead of three names, one of them "used").
