That's exactly how I got my second baby. My first baby was only 5 months old. Nothing is 100%. Just take the extra precaution now so you won't be stressed out later.

I used to breastfeed my baby before and my doctor told me breastfeeding is one way of keeping yourself from getting pregnant easily. Some mothers who had not had their period back got pregnant because, maybe, they were not breastfeeding. In my case, my daughter was already 9 months when I had my period back and I breastfed her for more than a year. Nursing mothers usually have their period back late, so don't worry. To be sure, just ask your partner to use condoms at the moment anyway, you can always switch to another birth control method when you have your period back, that is, if you still don't want to have another child.

If you follow ecological breastfeeding and you are not doing much solids you probably will not! Ecological breastfeeding is about 99% effective.

And contrary to popular opinion urine pregnancy tests are as accurate if you are breastfeeding as if you are not.
