Unusual, but it is possible to carry on having periods during pregnancy.

The only way to find out for sure is to take a test, go to the chemist or your local family planning clinic who will do the test free of charge and give you confidential advice.

Yes Leighanne, you can have a period and still be pregnant. I have eight children and with at least 2 of my pregnancies I had one or two periods during the pregnancy.

You should definitely get a home pregnancy test. They are very advanced nowadays and can give results very quickly. The kind with the "stick" are the easiest to use.

If you need someone to talk to about this, please email me!

Yes, it is normal to have periods during your first trimester of pregnancy, but not all women experience this. It's just always best to go to a doctor. Planned Parent Hood and many other clinics give free pregnancy testing. Just type in free pregnancy test on the web and you will get some other helpful info. If you need some one to talk to you can send me an email.

Yes you can! The only way to find out is to do a pregnancy test which you can buy at the chemist OR visit a doctor. You can go to any doctor out of town as a visitor if you can give a temporary address near to the surgery. OR if you are still at school...visit the school nurse.

Probably not but if your that worried you should do a test and/or go to see you Doctor. If you use contraception you wouldn't have to worry so much.
