My period is now one day late. I can't manage to get my hands on a home pregnancy test because I have no car. My fiance has to bring me one and he hasn't had time. He's also afraid of a positive result so he doesn't really want to do it. The last few days I got really suck with a fever and stuff. I don't know if my symptoms are just from being sick or what. I also know that being sick can delay your period, but I was wondering about being pregnant before I got sick. The only symptom that I don't have is sore breasts. Do a lot of women not have sore breasts this early?

I go to college and live on campus. That's why I don't have a car, and I dont' live with my Fiance. He doesn't have time because he works like 70 hours a week.

I had sore breasts very early, before my period was due. One day late isn't very late. Your fiance can't remain in denial forever though!

Before you get your hopes up...... Miss your period first! Don't freak you man out on a false belief. Once you've missed your period then get a test. Girl how do you get to work or school or what ever it is you do all day? Just because you have no car doesnt mean your life had to stop. Don't expect others such as your boyfriend to do everything for you. What he decides he doesnt want to stay if you are pregnant? What if? You gotta think of these things if he's too afraid to buy a little test to find out who's to say he'll stick around! Sorry but you have to take in all considerations hun! try and find you way out to the doctor and you friend not so reliable so try and ask some one else and sore breast usually come in the last two months cause thats when the milk begins to produce and you could have an infection to cause some infections can cause the same symptoms of being pregnant like missed periods and such but if you have been working hard or stress for other things can cause such problems so a pregnancy test sometimes isnt the best thing so i woul diffently go to the doctor to find out whats worng for sure

I got really sick ( like with a cold) a few days before I found out I was pregnant. My breasts didn't hurt until about a week after I found out. Sounds like you could be pregnant.Take the car when your B/f gets home and get a test.Or take the city bus ( if you have any) Good luck!

fever is not a symptom of pregnancy. probably just sick. illness can cause you to miss ur period too. Walk to the store if you want to know for sure.

Mine hurt so bad that on the first exam to see if I was pregnant I told him I could not take my Bra off because they hurt so bad. he just grinned and said that the pain will go away. so yes breast tenderness is one of the first signs.

Sore breasts and period type cramps were my first symptoms that made me test!!!

I am a dude, so my breasts do not hurt. My brother gave me a titty twister once and it hurt alot, so I feel sorry for you. I thinks you will forget about your breasts 9 months from now when you have another kind of pain .
